About this ebook

For several years, the author of this book has followed with great interest a phenomenon that is developing in several Christian congregations and is wreaking havoc in Protestant assemblies. It is the way in which the offerings are presented and collected in certain services of the Church which leaves him a bitter taste and makes him think.

His purpose in writing this book is first to demonstrate the importance of the offering in the ministry of worshiping, and then to teach believers to offer to God in a way that is pleasing to Him. It’s a book to read. So, get yourself a copy!

    PREFACE

Dear readers and Christian friends, it is an honor and a privilege for me to be able to present this book, written by Reverend Molège J. Clavéus to the Christian community.

The Importance Of The Offering In The Ministry Of Worship is a book that addresses some of the issues that affect most Christian congregations as plagues, mainly the service of offerings. Revolted by his conscience, Reverend Claveus decided to be at the forefront of all his peers when he writes this book which, for me, is considered as a revolution from the practical, ecclesiastical and spiritual point of view.

Dear readers, you are about to discover a young and talented author, full of wit and spiritual inspiration, with a literary style and a revolutionary approach. In his book, he discusses the ignorance of many believers about the importance of presenting offerings to God in the context of religious services, while addressing the avidity and greed of some leaders who twist the meaning of the Scriptures by using rigged methods to strip the members of the churches of their financial means which, he says, is a guilt and a shame for the pastoral ministry and the Gospel.

I hope this modest book gives you as much pleasure as I have myself found in reading it. I recommend it to everyone!

    Rev. Wilguymps CHARLES, Pastor.

    INTRODUCTION

    Dear readers,

The collecting of offerings is a subject that is provoking more and more discussion in the Christian community. It becomes so much a taboo subject that many are afraid to talk about it in their congregation. It is according to many a such taboo subject that one must approach it with a lot of precaution and wisdom because of its fragility in order to avoid possible scandals. Yet the Bible is not afraid to speak clearly and openly about it, whether in the Old or the New Testament.
