The Reality of Heaven
()
About this ebook
If you are concerned about the reality of heaven, I have good news for you. While heaven will give the believer (the individuals who are redeemed) a final home, this publication clarifies the extraordinary, superb, eternal heaven that we are constrained to express in nullifications and images of loftiness and superbness—the well-known view that heaven is like the most lavish mansions or places we know on earth. But that greatly misses the mark concerning the reality of heaven.
I recognize we all (adherents) are closer to heaven’s gates than we might suspect. Along these lines, I approach the subject “the reality of heaven” with an all the more academic and increasingly spiritual intrigue. My spiritual intrigue made me provoke some famous ideas in this book, and my own interest incited me to address numerous important inquiries, for example, How do we gain entrance? Is heaven a place or state of mind? Will we know each other in heaven? Or on the other hand, Will our resurrection bodies be like? Who will receive rewards? What opportunities or occupations exist for the believer in heaven? This publication answers inquiries regarding the believer’s final hope and the believer’s final home—heaven.
I trust this publication, The Reality of Heaven, will touch your spirit and mind as you read. Philippians 1:21–23 reads: “For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour; yet what I shall choose I wot not. For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better.
—Reverend Dr. John Thomas Wylie
Dr. John Thomas Wylie
The Reverend Dr. John Thomas Wylie is one who has dedicated his life to the work of God’s Service, the service of others; and being a powerful witness for the Gospel of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Dr. Wylie was called into the Gospel Ministry June 1979, whereby in that same year he entered The American Baptist College of the American Baptist Theological Seminary, Nashville, Tennessee. As a young Seminarian, he read every book available to him that would help him better his understanding of God as well as God’s plan of Salvation and the Christian Faith. He made a commitment as a promising student that he would inspire others as God inspires him. He understood early in his ministry that we live in times where people question not only who God is; but whether miracles are real, whether or not man can make a change, and who the enemy is or if the enemy truly exists. Dr. Wylie carried out his commitment to God, which has been one of excellence which led to his earning his Bachelors of Arts in Bible/Theology/Pastoral Studies. Faithful and obedient to the call of God, he continued to matriculate in his studies earning his Masters of Ministry from Emmanuel Bible College, Nashville, Tennessee & Emmanuel Bible College, Rossville, Georgia. Still, inspired to please the Lord and do that which is well – pleasing in the Lord’s sight, Dr. Wylie recently on March 2006, completed his Masters of Education degree with a concentration in Instructional Technology earned at The American Intercontinental University, Holloman Estates, Illinois. Dr. Wylie also previous to this, earned his Education Specialist Degree from Jones International University, Centennial, Colorado and his Doctorate of Theology from The Holy Trinity College and Seminary, St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. Wylie has served in the capacity of pastor at two congregations in Middle Tennessee and Southern Tennessee, as well as served as an Evangelistic Preacher, Teacher, Chaplain, Christian Educator, and finally a published author, writer of many great inspirational Christian Publications such as his first publication: 112 “Only One God: Who Is He?” – published August 2002 via formally 1st books library (which is now AuthorHouse Book Publishers located in Bloomington, Indiana & Milton Keynes, United Kingdom) which caught the attention of The Atlanta Journal Constitution Newspaper. Dr. Wylie is happily married to Angel G. Wylie, a retired Dekalb Elementary School teacher who loves to work with the very young children and who always encourages her husband to move forward in the Name of Jesus Christ. They have Four children, 11 grand-children and one great-grandson all of whom they are very proud. Both Dr. Wylie and Angela Wylie serve as members of the Salem Baptist Church, located in Lilburn, Georgia, where the Reverend Dr. Richard B. Haynes is Senior pastor. Dr. Wylie has stated of his wife: “she knows the charm and beauty of sincerity, goodness, and purity through Jesus Christ. Yes, she is a Christian and realizes the true meaning of loveliness as the reflection as her life of holy living gives new meaning, hope, and purpose to that of her husband, her children, others may say of her, “Behold the handmaiden of the Lord.” A Servant of Jesus Christ!

About the Author
INTRODUCTION
At some point back, it struck me my next significant stop would be Heaven.
I have turned out to be increasingly concerned about Heaven
my future home. I started to examine the theme of Heaven
for individual concerns. As I thought of the theme: the reality of Heaven,
I have asked a few people what they contemplated about the reality of heaven, but they appeared to sway away or offer no comments, not really wanting to hear or elaborate on the topic of heaven. I have tired to find books regarding the matter in the best book shops, but my findings did not satisfy my inward longings. It is here that I take up my pen in perspective of its importance for each believer.
We live in a materialistic and cash situated world where the subject of Heaven
has apparently been consigned to the back burner. It is only here and there examined or rarely find a place in present day media.
In any case, In on resolute faith in the total motivation and final authority of the Bible, it doesn’t disclose to every one of us all we might want to know concerning heaven, but the Bible reveals all we have to know.
There are numerous topics identifying with heaven that are not talked about here, and for them the reader can reference the most exhaustive treatments. Despite the fact that this blocks a reliably, continuous advancement regarding the matter, it might be increasingly useful from a practical perspective. Because the very Reality of heaven arouses so many questions in one’s mind, I have adopted a question-and-answer format as well as an informative format.
I Trust this publication, The Reality Of Heaven,
will touch your spirit and mind as you read. Philippians 1:21-23 reads: For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour; yet what I shall choose I wot not.
For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better.
There is each explanation behind the believer to anticipate the future with glad expectation, regardless of whether for the person in question it holds the second appearance of the Lord, or entering through entryways of our heavenly home
by way of death. This isn’t negligible pie in the sky considering, however all around established certainty.
We may impart to Paul’s conviction that to be with Christ is obviously better than anything we can imagine. The personal satisfaction and service here has an undeniable bearing on our felicity and reward there.
Reverend Dr. John Thomas Wylie
CHAPTER
ONE
27201.pngDefinition Of Heaven
The English translation of several Hebrew and Greek words. The emphasis in some of these is
height; hence, heaven is something above. The term is applied to the firmament, which is spread out like an arch above the earth. Sometimes, it is used with
earth to denote the whole universe (Gen. 1:1); also it is used to denote the
sky, the place where the sun, moon and stars dwell (Ezk. 32:7, Matt. 24:29, 16:1);it is also used of the regions above the sky the location of things eternal and perfect, where God and other heavenly beings dwell (Matt. 5:34, 23:22).
This is probably what Paul referred to as the
third heaven (II Cor. 12:2). Scripture does not specifically describe the first and second heavens; some view the first as the atmosphere, the second as the spaces where supernatural beings dwell, and the third is the abode of God. It is a place (II Cor. 12:2, John 14:1-3) of glory and beauty (Rev.21:1-22:7) (The New Combined Bible Dictionary And Concordance, 1984).
Heaven Is Both A Place And A State
That Heaven is a condition of endless blessedness is conceded by all. Be that as it may, heaven is a place too. In our dialog of the Intermediate State we pointed the scriptural training that both heaven and Hell are places, and the at death, souls enter the one or the other. There they hold up the judgment which will settle their last state with its rewards or punishments.
Heaven, in this way, as we should now see it, is the home the saved in their last condition of glorification. It is maybe difficult to discuss in reference to spiritual bodies, in a similar sense that we utilize the term when talking about the present assortments of fragile living flesh and blood. We know, be that as it may, that Jesus helped His grieving disciples with the words, In My Father’s home are numerous chateaus; if it were not really so, I would have let you know. I go to prepare a place for you. Furthermore, in the event that I go and prepare a place for you, I will return once more, and
