Preface
Archeologists excavate the land face of the earth to learn about the ancestry of humanity. Ancestry seekers use DNA information to learn about their personal history. All this seeking will reveal the past of our human bodies, our human activities and our human worship rituals. Will what we discover in all this searching enable us to understand ourselves better? Will the answers we find explain to us how we felt in all our human adventures? Will we become more loving and compassionate as a result of all this inquiry? What we will learn is what we did, how we did it, and what the consequence was.
There is a vast length of time in which humans have lived on the earth, but only a few millennia in which we find any written languages to describe our presence here. Bones and utensils and burial customs are all we have to decipher our past lifetimes. We see our predecessors on earth as different people. They were not. They were us, surviving in our surroundings just as we do now. Archangel Gabriel made it clear that we have lived many, many lifetimes on this planet we call home. We have lived so many lifetimes here that we have now met every other person now living! If we were different every generation how did we come to become more ‘civilized’? What we learn each lifetime we take with us to the other side; plan our next visit to earth to learn another lesson or ‘get even’ for another’s offense against us. It was us that waged all the wars, began all religions, made ‘discoveries’ to benefit humankind. Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
Matt. 23:31
We continue on this journey of becoming. Some of our mythology has revealed us as ignorant and brutal. We murdered to appease an unseen god. We sacrificed animals and humans to plead for acceptance from a god we could not see or comprehend. Out of fear we looked to the heavens for succor, comfort, and survival. Fear has been our driving force for millions of years. Only in the last two millennia have teachers come to remind us of the truth of us. They tried to teach us that love, forgiveness and compassion are our true nature. Interestingly, all major religions agree on these traits and many others. (See Oneness, by Moses).
As the ages continue to roll we now embark upon the Age of Aquarius. Angels come more often to more people than ever before. Books are being published which describe angel encounters. Miraculous healings are becoming more prevalent than ever before. Archangel Gabriel, Announcer of the ages, came at the inception of The Age of Pisces -- to Mary, Joseph, Elizabeth, and Zacharias -- to foretell the advent of John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ. Angels came to shepherds in their field to announce the birth of a savior. These visitations from on high provided us with the promise of a better world, the promise that we are so much more than physical forms. When we heard the Master Teacher, Jesus, say, The kingdom of God is within you.
(Luke 17:21) we thought ‘wouldn’t it be wonderful if it were true?’ The concept was far too lofty, too esoteric, as we engaged in our daily tasks of husbandry and farming, of bearing and raising children.
Now we are beginning to accept the fact that we are so much more than what our mirrors reveal. In this New Age, Gabriel came again to announce the Age of Aquarius, and to remind us of our innate divinity. He said that he came to teach us nothing new, but only to remind us of what we already know but have forgotten. In the wondrous twelve years that Gabriel came to teach (1987-1999), he gave us an overview of humanity’s history, from our home in Heaven to our long journey down to earth. Only from his distant view and timeless existence could Gabriel know of our regression from Heaven to Earth.
We are slow learners, for we have taken millions of years to learn, to grow, to become. Sometimes we needed help and entities from other planets came to bring life-changing assists, like fire and language. Now we are deriving the benefit of all the religions which we began and continue to worship therefrom. The one lesson we all must learn is love. Not segmented affections we assign to ‘others’, but the unconditional love that Jesus the Christ taught and demonstrated. Jesus did not come to begin a new religion; he came to save the world - everyone in it. The Bible tells us that Jesus came to save the world. Gabriel confirmed that. Then Gabriel told us that only on the cross did Jesus realize he had only saved himself. The world he looked down on from the cross was still dark and ‘poor in spirit’. The people were still full of fear, anger, and hatred. Are we to suppose from this that Jesus failed? Or are we to now accept, embrace, and live his glorious teachings of love and forgiveness? Jesus spoke of ‘peace on earth’, ‘good will to all men’, These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
John 15:11
The peace of which Jesus spoke is ours at our request, but only when we are prepared to accept it and its source: The world I look upon has taken on the light of my forgiveness, and shines forgiveness back at me. In this light I begin to see what my illusions about myself kept hidden. I begin to understand the holiness of all living things, including myself, and their oneness with me.
ACIM W pt. I, 57:5:4-6
The teachings of all religions point to our spiritual growth. The truth only eludes us when we refuse to open our minds to these teachings. Gabriel blessed us with the truth - our Origin and destiny; our Core of Love. Gabriel once said,
" . . . To those who love Truth, my words have been like gold . . .
For the Father gave unto me a tongue of Truth,
the power of Wisdom, and the presence of Love.
To all who seek the companionship of
GOD,
I am a wellspring, a fountain that never runs dry,
A Guide whose way is sure."
Archangel Gabriel

The sections of the Contents describe our winter - millions of years in which we have been unaware of our sacred Selves. Spring is approaching with this Age of Aquarius. Like tiny buds we gradually awaken to the truth - that we are all indeed children of the Living God. It is spring. In the summer some of us will begin the grand adventure of ascending Home to the Father. Autumn will see a complete harvest. How many thousands of years these three seasons will take is up to us. The sacred harvest is our destiny. When we all have ascended (see Ascension 101 by Gabriel), the sacred harvest will be complete. We will be back in Heaven, our natural habitat. Then we will create once again, as intended by God, only in positive and productive ways.

Chapter 1
A CRATE OF ORANGES
A crate of oranges is seen by various people in many different ways. The orchard owner sees it as the end product of his orchard; a source of income for costs and profit. The orchard keeper sees it as the result of a well- cared for group of trees. The harvester sees it as a demonstration of his/her hard work. The truck driver who transports it to the factory sees it as a precious load to carefully move it to its destination. The plant foreman sees it as his obligation to pack well his obligation. The driver who takes it to the train station for shipment sees it as a valuable load. The grocer who unpacks it for display sees it as a source of revenue for the store’s owner and his own employment.
The crate of oranges has not changed. Wherever it goes it is seen differently. This is an example of the fact that perception is deception. Everyone has their own view of life and everyone in it; of every thing in it. Our eyes provide us with the view; our experiences provide us with a viewpoint.
If perception is deception, then what is true? The crate and its contents are true. Or are they? They are forms in a world of physical form. The world of physical form consists of a three-dimensional perception: height, width and length. Interestingly enough is this Bible phrase:
May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.
Eph. 3:18-19
Here is a fourth dimension mentioned! ‘Breadth’ is an added dimension. Is it spirit? It is only spirit which could fill us ‘with all the fullness of God’. This world perceives life as dual: up and down; hot and cold; high and low, etc. The spirit world of God has no such dimensions. It is the real world; the world of LOVE. Unconditional love has no duality to it. Lovers may ‘run hot and cold’ but that is not the unconditional love taught and lived by Jesus the Christ. The man Jesus was filled with the Christ Light. The spirit world of God has no form, no three dimensions, and no duality. God is; Love is; God is love.
The world of form seems so dependable to us because a rock appears to be solid and supportive. We build houses with rock-solid foundations. The harder the form we see, the more dependable we perceive it to be. We call someone ‘a rock’ who supports us emotionally. Everything we look at has three dimensions and what we cannot see, such as heat, we assign duality to it. At what point on the thermometer does hot become cold? It depends on the person feeling it. We seem to ‘feel’ our way through life. It is one of the five senses we so heavily rely on.
We cannot imagine Heaven because the three dimensions are not there; duality is not there. Love is there; peace is there; joy is there; harmony is there. These lovely attributes are ours on Earth, but only rarely do we choose them. We live by duality: up and down; cold and hot; high and low; winners and losers; back and forth. God is love. Love is not dual. The unconditional love that Jesus demonstrated so well and so completely was all-inclusive; seamless love. Unconditional love cannot be reconciled with duality. One must choose the world of duality or the world of oneness. No compromise is possible. Humans cannot live in the world of oneness when his body resides in the world of duality. One lives in the world of oneness by virtue of one’s thinking, believing and expectations.
Jesus relied on the Inner Voice of God to instruct him. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
John 17: 8 Now, when Jesus walked the earth he promised he would be with us always (Matt.28:20), and would never leave us comfortless (John 14:18); would send a Comforter (John 15:26). In our tribulations and challenges of life it is easy to forget Jesus’ promises. Now we are blessed to hear Jesus the Christ remind us of his original words. We read from A Course in Miracles: Jesus’ modern-day words:
I said that I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
ACIM T 8: IV: 2:4
He is with us in spirit and he is with us literally, when we seek to see him and accept the fact we can see him face to face with our spiritual sight. Mediums often see him. Some day we all will become aware of our innate ability to see spirit. At that time all will have a new view of the life of truth. It only takes a new view to see humanity as one human family; one gigantic crate of oranges.

CONNECTIONS
Any dictionary tells us that connected means ‘joined or linked together’. There are direct and indirect connections. Some connections are short-term while others are long-term. Some connections are inseparable; others are
