PREFACE
At first glance, this book appears as a biological textbook, but I assure you it is not. It is an inspirational book from God borne from personal experiences in tough times. The word of God was the lamp and the light that guided this work and me from the beginning to the end. Therefore, great dependency on biblical scriptures was paramount.
The work did not intend to teach or break up scriptures but to ensure that relevant scriptures underpin each step of the work. I believe revelations in the scriptures will beam light in the readers’ mind as they go through this book.
I was encouraged to write this book with the help of the Holy Spirit as I battled against some challenges of life, which tended to engulf me. The battle was fierce, but I depended wholly on God to see me through and He did. Upon the experiences, I was inspired to write this book to help those who may be going through challenges of life.
This is an inspirational, spiritual and prayer book that aims to help readers come to understanding of the inter-relationship between the physical and the spiritual. Through this book, readers will learn the deepness of physical realities in the spiritual. May God Almighty enlighten your eyes of understanding as you read this book of inspiration in the name of Jesus Christ.

FOREWORD
This book, Planting Spiritual Seeds and Uprooting Spiritual Trees: A to Z prayer points, is a practical revelation of our spiritual life and activities. The knowledge that the book is leading us into unfolds the power of seeds, physical and spiritual and the harvest that comes out after the seeds have been planted.
In general, God Himself has given us the law of sowing and reaping. An understanding of this principle is the key to successful spiritual living that produces a spiritual and physical wellbeing in our individual lives.
Deacon Charles, a faithful member of UK World Evangelism Church is leading us to a greater awareness in our spiritual walk with God and our daily lives.
He also has an understanding of prayer points that helps one to win the wars that we face daily and to accomplish the task God has bestowed upon us.
I highly recommend this book to a believer who is seeking answers or solution to life problems.

INTRODUCTION
Cultivating Physical Plant Seeds
In the entire plant kingdom, only two groups bear seeds. These groups are the Angiosperms and the Gymnosperms, collectively called Spermatophytes.
The Angiosperms are the flowering plants whereas the Gymnosperms are the non-flowering plants. The seeds of the Angiosperms are encase inside the fruits whereas the seeds of the Gymnosperms are bare in cones, scales or leaves.
Both groups of plants can reproduce sexually via the pollen grain called male gametophyte and the ovule called female gametophyte.
Each seed of these plants have outer covering called seed coat. Enclose within the seed coat is food storage. The food storage surrounds the embryo. The embryo within each seed derives nourishment from the food storage.
The embryos are the structure that carry the future generation of the plants. An embryo is a microscopic plant contain in each seed. It remains at dormant stage until planting takes place.
One can describe a plant seed as a unit that carries a live structure called embryo from which new plant develops following plantation.
From the above, we know:
1. A plant seed contains microscopic live plant called embryo.
2. A plant seed can be planted.
3. A planted seed gives rise to new plant of its kind.
In the natural, a farmer plants a seed into the earth and with the right temperature and moisture, the microscopic young plant within the seed unfolds into a seedling; a process called germination.
Given the right environmental conditions; such as moisture, sunshine and fertile soil, the seedling will mature into a plant, which may range from a shrub to a gigantic plant. A farmer may also plant a part of a plant e.g., stem as in cassava, tuber as in yam, or sucker as in pineapple into the earth. Again, given the right conditions, the planted part will grow, blossom, flourish and bear fruits for man and animals.
There are diverse types of plant seeds. Each seed type must give rise to its kind. A guava seed must give rise to a guava plant. In turn, the guava plant must bear guava fruits and not apples. The life in a seed ensures the continuity of the plant from generation to generation.
A plant is a living organism with root, trunk or stem, branches and leaf systems. Usually, the root system is subterranean while the shoot (trunk or stem, branches and leaves) is above ground.
Every farmer has an expectation to reap bountiful yields or harvests. The overall aim of a farmer is to cultivate high quality, high harvest-yielding plants with minimal effort and cost. However, competitors, such as weeds, pests and parasites may impinge the yield of farmers.
1. A weed is an uncultivated plant that competes with cultivated plants for space and nutrients.
2. A pest is an organism that causes damage to cultivated plants. Examples include ants, insects, snails, nematodes, birds, rodents etc.
3. A parasite is an organism that makes its home in a host organism for benefits but causes harm to the host. (e.g., Fungi)
Parasites, pests, and weeds are enemies of plants and must be rooted out. Farmers normally use herbicides to eradicate weeds from farmland. They also use pesticides and traps to solve problems posed by pests to plants. As for plant parasites, appropriate methods may be use depending on the type of parasite that is attacking the plant e.g., fungicides eradicate parasitic fungi.
Everything being equal, what you reap depends on what you sow: if you sow good seeds, you will inevitably reap a good harvest; if you sow bad seeds, you will reap a bad harvest.
The discussion so far recognises three stages of plant development: the seed stage, the plant stage and the fruit-bearing stage. The sequence begins from the seed stage, progresses through the plant stage to the fruit-bearing stage. In addition, we recognise some challenges that confront farmers regarding plants and enemies of plants.
As it is in planting natural or physical seeds, so it is in planting spiritual seeds. The spiritual realm is a model upon which the physical realm is built. In the spiritual realm, there are diverse types of seeds. Each seed type bears its kind. Some are good seeds while some are evil seeds.
Everything in the spirit must begin with a seed, progress to plant stage and finally, to the fruit-bearing stage. A spiritual farmer plants spiritual seeds and expects his seeds to bear bountiful fruits to serve his purpose. His purpose may range from blessings to curses.
Like natural farmers, spiritual farmers have issues, which they must resolve with care. Without careful resolution of issues confronting them, they may not realise the full potential of their investments. The parable of the wheat and tares exemplify such issues, as we shall see later.
Both natural and spiritual seeds have one thing in common: both points to future generations. Each is a package into the future: natural seeds propagate future generations; spiritual seeds influence
