‘THE SHOW’
FULL MOON PARTY NIGHT!
This is a diary of my travels, four months of new experiences!
Through out the book there are things that people may be offended by such as swearing or talking about the Vietnam War. If you feel you may be shocked don’t bother turning to the next page. I have kept this diary 100% true and real. I wanted to be able to read back and feel each moment of my time traveling in years to come and also share with my family, friends and anyone else interested in reading. Some of the spelling is probably wrong. I have shit punctuation and have also cut words down as it’s easier to do so. So, don’t JUDGE ME!
I hope you enjoy reading my crazy mad beautiful time. Thank you.
1.jpgSo today was nice and peaceful, didn’t sleep very well but woke up to a text from Nicole excited for us! Then the texts starting rolling through! it Made me realize that ‘THAT DAY HAS COME’ Me and Vic finally off on our travels.
I made scrambled egg on toast with Jam + Marmite. I took my day nice and slow, logged on Facebook to some lovely leaving messages from friends and acquaintances I then had a shower got ready and went to the restaurant where mum made us little picky bits; spring rolls + chicken nuggets with sweet chilly sauce yum! Then Zoe came + it was ‘time to say goodbye’ (Andreas Bocelli) to Yaiya and Bapou (grandparents in Greek) and also to Uncle Steven who was in Cyprus. I headed home, sorted out my hand luggage changed it in to 2 different bags before I chose the right one. My leopard one my mum got me. Zoe helped me decided lool. I’d already packed so felt no stress.
All of a sudden, I could smell food. Mum had made MORE lil picky bits; mini pizza; sausage rolls and mini cream cakes. Me Zoe Stella Jay Alison + mum all ate and chatted. Dad was the first to give me butterflies in my stomach as he was leaving 1st to go David Lloyd. So, we said our ‘I Love You’s and good byes’. Finally, 4.20 came and Vic + Famo rolled up. We said our goodbyes again. Was emotional but still, I haven’t cried. Zoe got teary eyed bless her but she was cool. David helped me get my backpack in the car and in I jumped joining Judith Howard Vic + David. My 2nd Family! We waved goodbye and started our journey. Running a bit late for our 7 o’clock check-in time coz of traffic and David stopping for a piss on the motorway… Twice… Hahahaha. Finally, we got there checked in by 8 me and Judith squeezed in couple of fag’s and then we had a few phone calls from friends and family and went and had a drink.
Me + Vic put our flight socks on and had a lil laugh coz they reminded us of footballer socks looool. Time was now 9:15. Ready to go to our departure lounge, we said our goodbyes to the Lowe family where Judith got a bit teary which started Vic off but Vic held it down well, as soon as me and Vic go through the beeping machine area (which didn’t beep lol) we saw the board that said Dubai gates closing No.17. So, we panicked and rushed like Usain Bolt
to gate 17 from the Duty-Free area. By the time we get there we asked the workers is our gate closed and gave them our boarding tickets, they said you’re at gate 5 so right at this point me and Vic are out of breath and sweating from our panicked run whilst holding heavy hand luggage, a sleeping bag and a travel trolley. We sweatingly rushed to Gate 5 where we were left to wait as they weren’t moving for a few mins – finally on the plane, nice and spacious. Nice A/C… Yesss! And we have taken off… Oh well I thought we’d taken off but Vic said we haven’t we’re just moving forward (wondered why my ears aint hurting) the plane is dimmed and above on the ceiling it looks like stars in the night sky. It’s a nice effect. It’s a bit chilly now so I wrapped the blanket around my shoulders leaning on the pillow they gave us. I’ve taken my shoes off and just heard the Captain announce Cabin crew prepare for take-off
WWOOOO WE ROLLIN OUT! Vic’s spilt her water down her and she’s playing Tetrus on the T.V right in front of her everyone has one – Here it goes as I write. We’re off. I feel excited… Me and Vic just did our crosses and I said the ‘Eiyos Theyos’ prayer (Greek prayer) in my head that my nan told me about.
I feel like a journalist right now so I’m going to stop writing and relax on my 6 hour and 25 min flight to Dubai…
The flight to Dubai went really well the captain was good and our ears didn’t hurt at all and on the way down on the screen we were able to watch our landing cos there was a camera on the front of the plane so it felt like we were on a simulator. We also got a hot towel to refresh us as soon as we sat in our seats. The food was nice in fact best plane food we’ve had. For starters, it was smoked salmon salad. The main was spicy chicken breast with spicy mash and veg. Dessert was a chocolate + orange spongey mousse.
We are now on our next flight from Dubai to New Zealand + it’s my turn to sit next to the stranger + I got some fuckin hench arm diggin me in the side feels like I’m slyly playing the nudging elbow game! Some foreign man, hopefully it goes quick! Otherwise I’m gona break his rib.
Just remembered I read Stella’s text saying as soon as we left mum went into my room and burst out crying + Alison and Stella heard her and she said I feel empty
and stopped crying. Bless her!
This flight to Auckland feels sooo long already. We have to stop at Melbourne first. My legs feel achy so me + Vic have been doing stretches + walking around the plane. Met a nice Airhostess from Gambia was telling her our stories from when we went. It’s so funny me + Vic have made up 2 groups. Team ANTI Bloodclart and Team Bloodclart. Obviously, Team Anti Bloodclart are us that are walking around the plane stretching our legs as no one else is. I also spilt my water down me it looks like I have pissed myself. So, Vic used the hand dryer to help dry it.
Keywords – Canadia instead of Canada… New York tone.
Just had to pop them in so far that’s where I’ve made up words by mistake + me + Vic we’re fuckin cracking up. We got packman on the T.V love it. We’re at that stage now where we’re tired but very giggerly so r fuckin up our words and laughing over nothing much! Watching Family Guy on and off, I feel like I need to sleep 4 a bit also the food on this is Ruff. Lucky we’re not hungry.
We finally reached our hotel… Ooops… I mean hostel. It’s not bad. We came in sorted our stuff out, had a shower, got ready and had a lil walk in the city. In the space of 7 mins 3 people asked me if I had a spare fag coz they saw me smoking so I said no sorry so they asked me if they could have mine! What is that shit! Weird they all looked like them Maori people kinda red Indian looking. Anyway, we got hungry so had a burger king lol. Stuck to what we know as were feeling like straight zombies right now. Its only 8pm here so in UK its 7am. Were gonna try sleep + be up ready to do the sky tower jump 2mro OMG!!!!
Fuckin HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
That jump was the most fucked up scariest but most amazing thing I’ve eva done in my life so far. Me + Vic got r tickets went in 2 the building felt fine, changed in 2 the uniform and still felt fine. We were more excited than nervous the guy putting all our safety stuff on – Bruce the assistant was cool then he sent us up No53 in the lift. He said ill meet you down the bottom!
So, we headed up and in the lift, there’s a glass bottom that is kinda fucked in itself. I know Zoe would of FUCKIN HATED IT but I was ok standing on the glass. Vic didn’t like it. So anyway, we got there and we’re met by 2 more guys. He said okay who’s going first
It was me, as me + Vic flipped a coin and I got HEADS! Lol.
So anyway, I walked up 2 the lil box room where they had 2 do final checks. They saw that I was cool not nervous so they started trying to scare me they said "Did you know you’re
