Mummy’s girl
As my little girl clutched hold of her dollies, I couldn’t help but chuckle to myself. Two-year-old Allie had created a ‘ward’ - with a line of dollies sitting beside her.
‘Better,’ she said, as she planted a plaster on one of the doll’s legs.
Next, she aimed for Penny, our six-year-old Pug.
She just sat back as Allie plonked a plaster onto her leg, too!
Then to our other Pug, Summer, five. The plaster went on her paw.
And as I watched her play, I knew she was going to love the nurse’s outfit, bag and stethoscope I’d bought for her birthday in a few week’s time.
But before then, in July 2019, we were jetting off on a family holiday to Turkey.
