About this ebook

Elder George courageously gives her best and works as a dedicated writer who speaks directly to those who might feel that life is hopeless. Her motto has been reinforced after winning her battle with cancer and finding hope in the death of her daughter in Jesus.

Suffering is a test of faith in God. If Gods love calls you to suffering, respond through selfsurrender, and you will learn the mystery of love.

    MY PRAYER

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ––I just want to pause for a moment and say thank you––thank you for helping me travel this rugged road of life. Let your light illuminate my pathway, and I will forever be the daughter that you are calling in these last and evil days. Lord, guide me where you want me to go. Give me the grace to abundantly forgive others when I have been wrongfully persecuted and hated without cause. Give me the strength to pray for my enemies and for those who humiliate and belittle me. Lord, your word is crystal clear, Pray for those who spitefully use me and persecute me Matt 5:44. As I left up my eyes to thee in prayer, Holy Spirit direct me with your guiding light, flood my heart with compassion and purge me of an unforgiving spirit. Help me to live peaceably with all men Rom. 12:18. In Jesus name I pray, AMEN.

    ACKNOWLEDGMENT

    CHAPTER 1

    THE RUGGED ROAD

Ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.

    -Jeremiah 6:16

My road has been a rugged road. Looking for an easy way as a Christian is just not how it happens. The map to your road in life will put you on the worst roads you have ever driven on. The road will be an old logging road that has been bulldozed through the forest and never regraded, in which fallen timber, deep ruts, and large rocks batter your soul. It may take you through a jungle before you reach your destination. I sometimes ask myself, Why would God send me up a road like this? But what I was looking for was magnificent, I came to know that even though I thought I was on the wrong road, I was in fact on the right road: It takes unwavering patience to find your way. There is a faithful saying: All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful
