    PART ONE

    Considered TMI

    CHAPTER 1

    T HE LITTLE ONE wanted to be the monster at the table, as Dad sipped his scotch. Mom had her back to us. Carefully watching the stove. She hadn’t gained any weight after the pregnancy. In fact, the striped, skin tight, long john, long sleeve shirt made her apear very thin. Years later, Dad even admitted to me, that’s what he thought.

    Our Parents loved to cook together. In fact they learned from each other, & were both superior cooks. They had about eight or nine, gormeigh meals. Both accented the deliciousness, & deep craving flavour of everything they cooked together.

    There were three ways to eat at our table. The first way was to take random bites out of every different kind of food on your plate and finish dinner with it all mixed together so you’ll digest healthily. The second was to mix everything together on the plate, & eat all the different foods at once mixed together. The third, & best is mine. You must eat your peas first. your meat second, & your salad last. Then drink your milk without taking a breath to wash it down. This is how I eat. I’m a GoosePunk.

    CHAPTER 2

    Chinese

    S AMMY’S RESTAURANTS CONSISTED of a quantity of three. There was The Horseman. A hotel bar with mints my till. I once got one. There was another motel restaurant. I only ever had lunch there once when Paula picked me up early from school. Of all I liked the motel restaurant the best, but we had Chinese a couple times. That was taking out. When I was 4 mom gave me a sip of wine one day, in the Chinese restaurant.

    Dad was always a normal husband to Mom. I remember when she was unhappy, he ran to town, (3 miles) and came back with Chinese. Normal things husbands do for their wives. I don’t see why she called him, Typical. He was just like everybody else, only he probably cared too much then. As
