THE SUN GETS HOTTER STILL
W E’RE HAVING ONE dry summer this year. Fire season has become a year round danger in California too. Now, in Washington the sun gets hotter still, & heat waves that were a rarity in my youth are commonplace today. The lawns are brown, & the sun is beating down. The smog that was so famous in LA back then is noticable here today, & nobody is really talking about it.
The USA has some of the most coal of any nation in the world, & for the last 3 years, it’s been traveling through this town by railway non stop, & my old elementary school actually had to pick up, & move because of the noise.
