The author is a novice in the field of writing but was compelled to tell his story in order to help our men and women suffering from PTSD. Terry was a naive young man before he was drafted and came home as he states "in pieces" and those pieces are still together to this day. Terry has battled many days of depression and yet held onto life despite the horrible visions of experiences in Vietnam. Through all his struggles, Terry has been a caring and giving person to his peers, friends, family and co-workers. Over the years, Terry has internalized his struggles which has taken a toll on his body and caused withdrawals from his surroundings. On the surface you find a jovial person who is driven to finish what he starts and to follow through on his given word. He strives to right the wrongs he sees daily. Though he feels taken over by the effects of Vietnam. It has made him a strong character to deal with and can usually get to the heart of any issues. He never gives up!!!
