Preface
This book was written in memory of my dear brother, Anthony Walker who lost his battle with prostate cancer on October 25, 2017. During his final months I was able to spend quality time with him reading, singing and reviewing old photographs. Two years before his cancer progressed we spent holidays, family reunions and birthdays together. He took several trips around the world with his wife. Anthony taught me to live life to the fullest and embrace every moment with those you truly love. My brother did not allow cancer to stop him from living, enjoying life or praising God every day. He truly was an inspiration to me and several people. During his final days, he was able to contribute chapter 9 of this book to share his journey in hope of inspiring others.
As we all look back on the year 2020 and the unexpected interruptions we all faced in our lives during COVID-19 may we be enthusiastic and appreciative for life. Many of us may have lost loved ones, family and friends as a result of this deadly virus in 2020. Several of us also faced unemployment, isolation and depression as a result of extended state-mandated lockdown periods. The opportunity to travel and visit family during holidays were eliminated for many families nationwide for more than a year. 2020 will be documented and recorded in history for future generations. As I look back over my life, my trials and tribulations; 2020 will always be a reminder to be grateful, thankful and hopeful for a brighter future.
Several of the stories you read are based on my own life experiences and disappointments. So whatever you are facing today, I believe these stories will encourage, motivate and empower you to press forward and "Get Your Life Back." As vaccines roll out nationwide and the world embrace the possibility of life returning to some form of normalcy; we must live life to the fullest, keep the faith, continue to dream, and make plans for our future.

I am so grateful that the Lord healed me from years of depression over a decade ago.
