This book is dedicated to my mom, who I love so much, and who took care of me throughout my most difficult time and stayed by my side 24/7 at the hospital. It is also dedicated to the two witnesses that stopped their cars and walked the soybean field at dusk in desperation to find me alive and made that 911 lifesaving call. I believe that if it wasn’t for them being there at that precise moment, I won’t be here today. To the paramedics and helicopter staff that kept me alive. To the 2 most wonderful and outstanding nurses at Loyola Pediatrics ICU, Josie and Lindsay. They poured their hearts and brought my mom such comfort. To my hard working therapists at Marionjoy for their determination and perseverance in helping me become functional again. To all my loving supportive family, friends and neighbors that spent countless hours and days by me and my family. To my amazing and outstanding doctors: Dr. Prabhu, Neurosurgeon of Loyola, Dr. Mary Keen, Director of Pediatrics of Marianjoy Rehabilitation, and Dr. Deena, Nurse Practitioner. To Pastor Auti Howard, and through the Holy Spirit, delivered God’s message to us by way of an amazing revelation indicating that God was in control and everything was going to be OK! All of them gave us such reassurance and guidance. I am deeply grateful for all of these Godly appointed people. They are all my angels!
But the biggest thanks and praise goes to All Mighty God and Jesus Christ who played the major role in giving me a second chance at life and delivered miracles beyond human belief! To the blessed Virgin of Guadalupe, who my Grandmother believes, had a great deal to do with my recovery. They answered so many desperate prayers that brought comfort and peace to many.
I like to acknowledge the Ronald McDonald House and their volunteers for their most generous accommodations and great meals provided to my family while I was hospitalized. Thank you for making our home away from home so inviting! To the Michael A. DeStefano Foundation and also, the ATI for their financial gift and outstanding support.
Note (Ronald McDonald House is supported by donations given by customer in drive-thru box. The DeStefano Foundation was founded on behalf of Michael, who in 2009 suffered a car accident leaving him with traumatic brain injury. Michael and his mom provide advocacy and assistance to families with similar situation as Michael). ATI Foundation has a charitable program that gives financial support and helps families with children that have physical impairments and financial needs).
Preface
At the age of 17, I survived a horrific car accident and suffered a severe brain trauma. Against all odds, I made a remarkable recovery and have been classified as a miracle by my doctors. By the grace of God, miraculously my life was spared and I am on my way to making a full recovery.
You will have an opportunity to read about my numerous unexplained miracles and events that led to my recovery. God manifested himself through a pastor in three different occasions relating to my accident and my future outcome. My near death experience also brought angelic encounters and though I was never declared dead, I was able to experience a glimpse of heaven.
Throughout my recovery, I was able to talk and bring messages from my deceased biological father, great-grandparents and from a friend’s father. I obtained hard-cord evidence that they were truly with me. I have evidence that though our loved ones
