About this ebook
in expressing love. Love is what i feel,
love is what I cherish.
Howard Grant
My name is Howard Grant Jr. I was born in New Jersey. I grew up in a military family with one brother and three sisters. I am a gifted writer who has been writing for thirty-eight years. It is time for my talent to be displayed to the world. Hallmark offered me an opportunity to work with other writers within their company but I declined because I wanted to write on things that were dear to my heart. I feel my book will have an impact on many lives. I received a letter from president Obama in 2009 for writing a poem to him.

A Mixture of Poetry - Howard Grant
Just for Us
Just for you, I’m as happy as a lark
We’ll never do anything to each other and keep it in the dark. We two can handle it, and enjoy it all the time.
We can have the best of fashions and the sweetest of wines.
We’ll get out there and enjoy life’s freshness of air. We can be what they call the sweetest pair.
I’ll do what I have to so that we’ll stay on top.
I can’t start anything, to have it end as a total flop.
Say lady, I know you have feelings too. Express yourself, I’ll listen to you.
Just for us, my writing will pave the way,
For a great future and a brighter day.
It’s just a matter of time for us to be with that entertainment crowd.
We can reach the top together, and for each other, we’ll be proud.

Lady
Lady you wake up in the morning with such a pretty smile.
Hate to leave you lady, wish I could stay a while.
You never really knew what was in my heart, but I’ll never do anything to tear yours apart.
So you say you love me, but I don’t know the deal. Because everytime I see you I wonder if you’re for
