In my life silence was a virtue for me. Many childhood traumas and obstacles as a child lead me to escape to an inner place, where a little soft voice would sound like a silent dew on a deserted leaf on a cold freezing night in the month of January. I would pretend it was coming from my guardian angel. However today I know it was and I didn’t need to pretend.

FOREWORD

Ever since I met Denise she has been talking about getting published. She has always been an encouragement to everyone she comes in contact with. When she began writing this book she had already encouraged so many people in so many ways. She raised our family and worked and still had time to journal to preserve memories and logics to share with everyone. While writing this masterpiece she kept her sights on how she would be able to entertain, sympathize, empathize, teach and show joy all at once to everyone. Journey with me is a complete collection of very intimate thoughts, and experiences that can be related to all of us that are and have once been children. I have seen some of the emotions that are described in this book as Denise worked diligently to complete this well appreciated piece of history, that I am sure will be a treasure for all in years to come.
