    Acknowledgments

A s always, I want to give all thanks and glory to God for all things, not just for what he has done but for who he is in my life on a daily basis. I really want to thank him for allowing me to see another day because I was so undeserving. He also has made a way for me even when I couldn’t see my way. This project was a long one and should have been released a couple of years ago, but he didn’t want it for that time. I am so ready for this journey and ready to walk in my destiny. For this and everything I am sincerely in awe and grateful for this life he has allowed me to possess. For this life and walk has shaped me into the woman that comes before you this day.

Now to all those who helped make this book come to life, thank you, thank you, and the list begins…To my Mother, thank you for birthing me into this world and standing and walking with me as I would keep my bedroom lights on half the night with the computer on my lap and I was asleep trying to finish that one last paragraph. Yet, there are still no words that will tell you how much I Love You. Thanks to my big sister Lisa, for loving me since birth, we argue and we fight but ain’t nobody going to hold us down but us two and you’ve done that forever, all my life. The world’s realist ride or die.

Torrie Strickland and Hanni Reutter thank you ladies for reading and reading this manuscript over and over again and for making me go outside the my box, my comfort zone. Then to for holding me to my deadlines in the beginning of this project until the end of this project, yes it’s finally finished ladies, I met the deadline.

To my big sister, Nicole Coco Knox, I’m coming to Cali. However, you are the world’s best sister and you always have a great word of advice. Whenever I want to talk, you are always available even if you were working. You have kept me grounded with the word before me and through our Daily Inspirations readings. Talk to you later, young lady.

To my bestie, Toyna McKinney, I will say this publicly, that last him conversation really set the ball sailing. I have seriously been giving it my all since. I know who I am and everything that we said have come to past. I truly appreciate you and love the love we have for each other. We are able to be vulnerable without judgment and that’s our best friend code. Now being blunt honest on the men is a priceless respect we have in each other’s life. Thank you for always being a friend whether near or far.

To him, you have always showed me love since the beginning and never passed judgment, for that I’m grateful. You’ve often given me that listening ear which is quite unusual from most men these days and without motive. I feel I can tell you anything. Thank you for being a shoulder to cry on when I needed it and you most. For every word, every trip just to get away for some peace of mind and vast in your presence, here’s my gratitude. Through every disappointment, mine and yours, through every pain, even our disagreements only have made us stronger… for always being there for me and for always showing the upmost respect, I love you. You are the perfect depiction of love in my life, the smile that I wear… And to those who think they know our truth really may never know the love we have for each other, our love.

Thanks to Authorhouse, for another beautifully published literary piece. I’m making history and leaving a contribution for this world to always remember. Lastly, To all my readers, Book Clubs, Facebook friends, Instagram and Twitter followers, online retailers, Kindle, Youtube watchers, newspapers, and radio personalities thank you in advance for your purchases, emails at www.kyraevonne@yahoo.com, Where it’s my gratitude, love is attached to you for your support.

    Introduction

    KAORI LYNN

I t has been two years since my last episode by the name of Jackson. So much lost I feel in my position for that relationship. Love can make you do and say the craziest things. It will even make you feel so courageous. Yes, he had the best of me; although, it brought out the worst in me. I must have danced to his every song and played his every game. Not knowing that at anytime this could or would be our last time to laugh, to dance, or sleep together. I gave so much and he took ALL and so much more. Still… I blame nobody but myself. All the ranting and raving to prove a point…. He only did what he was allowed. He wasn’t pressured or pulled to. I activated my words to cultivate all the flames that ignited between us; however, Darold is nothing short of amazing. I have found him to always be open, considerate, and passionate about things that I partake in. He keeps me smiling, never having to be bothered with my position in his life. I keep looking for change, as I stated before, but haven’t seen any yet. We are growing together in our endeavors and he keeps me at his side. Even though Darold makes the final decision, as all men should, he at all times asks my opinion. It’s not often men will bring you into the circle of needing the advice of a woman; but being that he does, I am so appreciative. Wherever we go, he makes it his business to let others know who I am. He has great manners, a high esteem for me just as he does his mother and a grand respect for his father. I tell you…IT IS SEXY! Darold, since our last conversation, two years ago, has certainly lived up to his expectations. He gives good love and we are always out on the town, even on the weekends; none of which Jackson did unless we were accompanied by a third party. There’s so much difference in a man who is into you versus a man that has to be ruled by society on what a woman should be…as Jackson was always a distraction. Yes…the women were there to pick from; but I always thought I had it going on because I was the chosen one. But little did I know I was his
