Looking back over my life, there are so many things I wish I could change. Then again, I dont really know if I would want to change everything. You say double talk, not really. If I changed some things, I would truly miss, I believe, the lessons learned, experiences, and the many blessings I received by doing what God said instead of man. In my seventy-some years of living, Ive had many trials and tribulations, but through it all, I made it by the grace of God. Ive heard that saying many times, but God has let me live long enough to witness that it is a reality. By nature, I wasnt supposed to be here, but because of Gods divine intervention, I am alive and well.

Rev. Jean L. Gatewood-Harding Pastor’s assistant St. Paul AME Church Rev. Harding is the daughter of the late Rev. Damon and Mrs. Willie Ann Jones. Her professional career includes executive regional trainer at Carson’s (Chicago, Illinois), professional Pink Cadillac Mary Kay cosmetic director, and ordained local elder, serving as pastor’s assistant to pastor Booker at St. Paul AME Church. She is a graduate of Metropolitan Christian Bible Institute Advantage College with an associate’s and bachelor’s degree in theology. Rev. Harding is a member of the Tri-Del (NACWC) for over fifty-five years and is a lifetime honored member of the Biltmore Who’s Who Executive and Professional Registry Professional. She is a professional singer doing solos and ensemble groups, including Jones Sisters Gospel Ensemble, the Allen Singers of Alton II, James Cleveland Workshop, and many others.

In Remembrance of Mom and Dad, my parents, The late Rev. Damon Jones Sr. and the late Missionary, First Lady, Willie Ann Jones. Their love for God, each other, their children, and all of God’s people, left a great, great, great Legacy. They shall never be forgotten. They went home to Glory in 1970 and 1972, only seventeen months apart. To God be the Glory for such wonderful and loving parents.
