I dedicate this book to God, without whom I would not have made it this far. If it had not been for God, I would have lost my mind and may have been locked up in a mental institution. I thank God for delivering me from that fate.

I thank God for looking past my flaws, thoughts, feelings, and actions. I thank him for looking at my heart and seeing the love I had for him. He gave me the endurance, perseverance, and confidence to not give up but to hope for freedom and know he would never leave me or forsake me.

I thank God for giving me a mind to change everything about me that’s not like him and to be more like him so I could serve him in spirit and truth. God is my life!

I love my mother, Jennifer, so much, and I thank God for giving me such a strong, loving, nurturing, truthful mother who helped instill in me the knowledge that with God, I can make it through anything. She believed in me and helped push me to pursue my dreams. I would not trade her for the world.

I am so blessed to have my dad Stevie and stepdad Ronnie in my life. I thank God for them being there to encourage me to press forward to a bright future and not give up or let anything hold me down.
