DEDICATION
This book is dedicated to my husband Ramon and to our only beloved son Gabriel.
A thanks to all of my family and friends who encouraged me to write about the gifts that have been bestowed upon me.
A Thanks also to ABKIT, INC that gave me permission to use Swedish Bitter’s as presented in my Books.
Above this dedication to my loved ones is my love and respect for my heavenly Father The Great Spirit in the sky from Whom all knowledge and wisdom does flow.
And as always, one of my sayings will be:
When my time comes to cross over into the spirit world and must leave the earthly behind. I will leave knowing that I left a bit of myself in the minds of those whom believe in the supernatural ways of Father God and the blessings of natural gifts.
I will then also have lived to the truth of this saying, I lived, I learned, I taught, I rest.

PREFACE
Input concerning herbal practice
In every culture the making of natural medicine has been kept alive by those whom have been born with the gifts in healing.
The Medicine Woman or Man has a deep desire to help others, a passion for making natural medicines and, always seeking of new knowledge to improve an existing remedy.
They are open minded in learning how to make new medicines with the same old herbs that have been used for centuries.
One of the strong points in some of these individuals is that they are very spiritual people, being prayer warriors and some being prophetic seer’s. They take no credit for their gift but give all praise and glory to God from Whom the Gift originally came from.
In many cultures the Medicine Woman or Man have been called the Holy Man or Holy Woman because of their spirituality and the making of Natural Medicine; going by either name, their gifts are not to be mistaken with the practicing arts of the Curandera, the Curandero and or the Shaman.
Input pertaining to the Spiritual
Supernatural is something existing outside of man’s normal experience or something outside the natural laws of nature.
There are many people whom have been born with gifts. I speak of the gifts that are not explainable by science; such as receiving visions that come to pass or intuitively knowing what is about to happen right before it occurs.
I believe in The Creator of heaven and earth and all that there is; I believe that God is a God of Love and has always communicated with His children.
Many people experience the unexplainable, those who believe in God will know without a doubt when they have experienced an act of God; others that do not believe that there is a God who experience or see the unexplainable just call it a coincidence or say, WOW!, Stuff happens
!
God is not a respecter of persons; however, there are many prayer warriors, and God honors prayer. A prayer warrior takes no credit for the out come of the answered prayer but they give all praise and glory to God Who honored the request with the answer.
A Seer is not a special person, God just sees them fit to receive from the next dimension that they may do their work. As sure as Jesus was not sent to this world for himself, but to be Saviour, a Seer knows that they are here on earth for others and not for themselves might it be to help spiritually and or physically.
A Servant walks in the Spirit of Truth, obeying The Holy Spirit as we are lead.

Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
Just as sure as I believe these words to be true; Jeremiah was predestinated to be a prophet, I was predestinated to be a servant of Father God That Great Spirit in the sky to work on earth according to His Will.
Chapter 1
My Ancestors
It was in the 1800’s my great grand father Anecleto Martinez who was a short blonde blue eyed Spaniard, married a dark haired green eyed Navajo mixed woman, Eugenia Arguello Martinez.
In 1885 my grand mother Apelajia Martinez was born, and in 1903 at the age of 18 she was given in marriage to Primitivo Morales who was 26 years older than Apelajia. My mother Eslinda Reyes Morales was born in 1932, my mother was the last child born to Apelajia.
My Mother married my father Frederico Fortino Gonzales whom was of Irish, Spanish and French descent. My grand mother Felicita Parson Gonzales a petite green eyed woman was a Midwife in a village called French, New Mexico.
My grand father Juan De Los Reyes Gonzales was a tall good looking slender man with a heart of gold, the son of a Silver Smith; grandpa worked for the railroad and later for an appliance store in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
My Parents had a total of seven children four boys and three girls, as follows;
Johnny, Freddie ll, Victoria, (myself), Rosalee, Miguel and Paul.
I was born in 1956, in 1973 I married Raymond Esquibel a man who is of Spaniard, German and American Indian descent. We are the proud parents of our only son Gabriel.

Chapter 2
The Beginning of Mama’s Undocumented Story
There is the information that is found in the archives, then there is the information that can not be found because it was not given to record. It is the information that is kept hidden; I suppose that there are secrets in most family histories, things that are just not talked about or simply denied.
I can only write about the events that my dear mother and other’s have told me, I will honestly say that I believe it all to be true.
I knew a man named Arsenio (Archie) Garduno who told me that Apelajia was his cousin. I had heard that Anecleto and his first wife Anastacia were actually Apelajia’s grandparents, not her parents.
Archie told me that after Anastacia had died, that Anecleto had married Eugenia Arguello.
I was told that they had raised my grandma Apelejia as their own child.
I believe this to be true simply because when my mother Eslinda Morales Gonzales was terminal, I had to get information on her mother Apelajia.
Vital Statistics showed my grandmother’s name as Apelajia Morales Morales, if Anecleto Martinez was her natural father she would have been recorded as Apelajia Martinez Morales.
My grandmother Apelajia was raised working very hard, she would tend to all of the farm animals, chop wood, cook and clean house at a very young age;
I suppose she worked just as hard as all the children did back then.
Apelajia was not educated but lived her life as a simple person. She was a beautiful woman, she had blue eyes, long blonde hair and had very fair skin.
After Anecleto died Apelajia was given to marry Primitivo Morales.
She was apparently became his fifth wife as I was told that he had a total of twenty four children.
Primitivo had somewhat of a temper as I have heard from other relatives that knew about his past. He apparently came to New Mexico at the age of fourteen, at the age of sixteen he briefly hung out with William Bonney known as Billy The Kid. Billy the Kid’s life was not long lived as he died in 1881 according to the museum records approximately at the age of twenty.
Primitivo had had a hard life since boyhood, raised by an abusive uncle he lived almost in slavery. He was a very hard working man; his profession was being a stone cutter and builder. He liked his wine, women and playing guitar.
I was told that he built two stone churches, and that the structures are still standing, one is in Dilia, New Mexico and the other is in Springer, New Mexico.
I will not make any excuses for some of the things that you will soon read about my grandfather’s behavior; may be he was this way due to his own life of abuse as a child in Mexico.
I suppose his first few wives were taken by his stature, a tall handsome man with beautiful hazel eyes. I will add that there were no divorces in his life, his wives apparently died during child birth. My grandmother Apelajia was the wife that buried him.
Billy’s death information puts Primitivo at the age of twenty two in 1881, and twenty six years old when my grandmother Apelajia was born in 1885. She was given to him at the age of eighteen in 1903, he was then forty four years old.
Grandma Apelajia continued to live a very hard and emotionally painful life.
Primitivo was abusive, sometimes would hit her at will, he was not only abusive with his wife, he would also use his leather belt on his children.
Apelajia had seven children but lost five to influenza. My mother and her older sister Mary were her only surviving children. Mary helped take care of my mother due to Apelajia’s state of mind, it became that as of a broken spirit.
Aunt Mary was physically abused by her father, he was so strict with her.
Young and beautiful as Mary was, she went through hell just to have a life out side the home; my aunt lived to her late seventies.
Now, about my mother Eslinda, Primitivo knew that she was quite different from all of his children, he was mean to her. She was the only one that had ever stood up to him, which was something that he just did not approve of, it was something disrespectful that deserved punishment.
My mother described the beatings that she would get, and how it would really upset him when she would not cry as he’d yell out at her to cry; he’d soon just walk away from her nodding his head.
Mother told me that she’d just stand there stiff as a board enduring the pain, she had learned to block the pain out of her mind while staring into his beautiful clear hazel eyes which would turn grey with anger.
The abuse was not only physical she also suffered a lot of emotional abuse, due to the verbal abuse directed at her by her older brothers, they did not call her Linda, they called her La India
which is Spanish for The Indian
.
They would also call her La India Herrada
which was a nasty way of calling her a domesticated Indian
.
Let me explain this name calling, Indian’s were supposed to be savages and crazy as wild horses. A wild horse must first be captured, then it is broken, it is trained, then it is shod. At this point the animal has been domesticated, it is now able to be worked and ridden; so, this was how they looked down upon my mother, she was nothing more than a domesticated Indian to them.
As a young girl, my mother never understood why she was called La India and other names, although she could see that she did not look like everyone else in her family.
Her skin color was not fair but of a tawny complexion, her dark brown eyes, her auburn hair all set her apart from everyone else’s light color hair, their fair skin and
