About this ebook

The heart has time to laugh as well a time to cry, so when you say this is from my heart, you must take in all the emotional aspect we deal with daily. This book of poetry is an array of my daily emotions. It covers my funny side as well as my nightmares, the terrors of war as well as holding and praying with my daughters. If anything, this book is me that nobody sees, this is me that has worked its way to my fingers then to paper and now here in book form, enjoy.

    Nobody

I am a nobody, and that is good

No that’s right, it is what I should

I know that my sins, are greater than

    I am a nobody, I sin because I Can

I pray and ask God to forgive my all

I lie, hurt others, again on Lord I call

Why do I do these, has one answer now

I keep looking back and crooked I plow

So when you are with me, remember I said

I’m a nobody, that’s been raise from the dead

When I think I’m someone prides in not dead

My nobody I should be – it leaves my head

I am a nobody, and happy when that’s true

When I’m a nobody, I’ll be a good friend to you

I will care and be faithful, pride will not be here

Just good ole nobody, that is full of good cheer

    To My Love

Will you love me, when old and gray

Will you love me then, as you do today

Will we proudly stroll, down the walk

Will you be willing, to just sit and talk

I will promise you this, this beautiful day

I will be beside you, through all I will stay

Though the times will come, when all isn’t well

To all those around us – they cannot tell

I will hold your hand, till the sunsets above

All in heaven, will know we are still in love

So as these days, on earth go fleeting by

When we sit and look, at Gods endless sky

I will always love you – you are my life

Till side by side, to heavens golden light

Remember I love, through each passing day

I’ll always be there when you kneel and pray

    If Jesus

If you want Jesus, as the Prime Minister of our land

Then each must get busy, and prepare our voting plan

We must go door to door, and tell all that we see

That if voting for Jesus, they must join you and me

If you want Jesus, to be the premier of our state

Then we had better get going, before it is too late

We must get to others, so they will know to go

To others in our state, so they will surely know

If you want Jesus to be the mayor, of your home town

Then each had better prepare, to make a joyful sound

We must get to our friends, so they will surely see

That it is Jesus we want to lead, our city to be free

If you want Jesus to be Lord, now it is time for me

Then each must prepare their heart, for them to see

Must tell our Saviour, that it is Him we’ve come to be

No more will we wonder, we’ll keeping looking up Thee

    Peace

Peace I had, with comfort and all

When things went bad, help was there

When silence was deaf, someone would call

When all alone, someone would care

When I would move, out of my place

When temper and sin, caused me untrue

I find that a new enemy, that I did face

I would hurt because of, not true to you

But when I returned, to the place I know

To move back under the cloud, so true

To seek the one, whose love would show

I’d find peace in Him, this I always knew

So when you do, what I once did

Move from the one, who would care

Run home to Jesus, arms open wide

He will always, always be standing there

    You Going To Go?

Death comes, when no one knows

It only comes once, then it goes

Takes the one, whose time has come

Prayerful it is one, who job is done

Each has assigned, a time when to go

Jesus and God, are the ones who know

So when it arrives, make welcome to see

For he could be coming, for even thee

Salvation the thing, needed to know

Make sure of heaven, before you go

See Jesus today, and plea your sin

Forgiveness so, heaven you can go in

    The Enemy

Our soldiers meet the enemy, day in and day out

Sometimes in heart ache–sometimes with a shout

Always ready to stand, for are Saviour so dear

Stand ready for any calling, whether far or near

Sometimes in that battle, a warrior true

Falls in battle – fighting daily for you

We fill in the gap, the best we know

Praying replacement, is willing is show

Sometimes in the moon light, as light fades away

We look for re-enforcements, that will come and stay

As the sun rises, on a new battle front today

No replaced found, no one coming; we will stay

When ask, why don’t I come home, family to see

I must answer cannot, the battle rages, they need me

Souls fall and slip, into terrible darkness of eternity

I must stand, I must stand, no one else but me

    I Will Not Quit

I will not quit, when the storms do come

I will not quit, when life is taken from

I will not quit, when I stand all alone

I will not quit, when no love is shown

I will not quit, when the world walks away

I will not quit, when my friends will not stay

I will not quit, when my prayers seem cold

I will not quit, when the enemy becomes bold

I will not quit, even when heath seems to fall

I will not quit, when no one answers my call

I will not quit, even when I am at deaths door

I will quit, when Jesus calls me home, forever more.

    Please Forgive Me

There are times when I do not pray, like I should

There are times when I do not give, like I could

There are times when my Bible, not read like it should

    There are times when
