About this ebook
Terralisa McBride
I was born on April 19, 1971, in Flint, Michigan, to Linda Gist and James Williamson (both deceased now). I have two siblings that share the same mother as I, and I have four siblings that share the same father as I. As I grew up, poverty was a way of life, not an image. There were things I've seen that most young children should have never been a witness to. Early in my teenage years, I found the love of words. I began to explore my writings with simple notes to inspire family and close friends. When I became a mother, I felt a new wave of refreshing energy fill up within. It was almost like being flushed with water throughout my entire body. All my emotions were pure and clear to me. It was at that time that I knew my thoughts and feelings of my surroundings had become one with me. As I approached different people or was involved with different events, my soul latched on to the aura that filled the air. Then one day, it was all just a blur. I got involved with other activities that led me astray from my true calling. However, I've always jotted down little passages and thoughts that moved me. It wasn't until my late thirties that I decided to recapture my own inner self and search my soul to see if indeed this was meant to be. Now that my life is on a new path, I vowed to make a lifelong passion become as real as I am as I stand here on this earth.

Sometimes I feel I’m losing my mind, sometimes I sit alone in the dark and just cry. There are a lot of things bottle up inside of me I can’t explain, but all in all I’m still the same. I am the only one
