He retired from Honeywell Avionics Incorporated in September 2009 after thirty years service as a facilities technician. Mike Cater now resides in Lawrence, Kansas. To my readers: This is my third book. I have decided to write a comprehensive discussion on our Salvation Experience. I want to give everyone a true sense of a relationship with a real all-powerful God. Our Savior-God wants a relationship that is totally honest concerning a Holy God and His Chosen People. God’s word is trying to give us a peaceful heart through our baptism by faith in Jesus Christ. Since we have been ‘quickened’ or made alive with God in Christ Jesus we need to put our will worship aside and worship our savior Jesus Christ. Matthew 6:1-15 Mike Cater and His Wife, Barbara Hook Cater, of 52 years Mike Cater was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on November 1st 1943 and lived out his childhood in Emporia, Kansas. He is the youngest of three children. His oldest brother, Robert L. Cater lived in California for most of his life and his older brother, William Cater lives in Southeastern Kansas today. Mike Cater is the son of Ida Carolyn Cater Olson Axe and William Danford Cater of Emporia, Kansas. His stepfather, Raymond Dean Olson, retired as a farmer outside of Pomona, Kansas after a long career as a road grader operator at several construction companies. Mike was married to Barbara M. Hook of Pomona, Kansas in 1962 at Quenemo, Kansas. They will enjoy their 52nd wedding anniversary 1n 2014. This picture is of Mike and Barbara Cater at a cousin’s wedding in 2002.

    A WORD FROM THE AUTHOR

It Has been three years since I published my first book. It is a Bible Study on Prayer. It is titled Teach Us How To Pray. I used Matthew 6: 5-14 as my Bible text for the basis of my first book. I formulated my book as a Bible study where I ask many questions of my readers concerning certain Bible Passages. My concern was to enforce on each person's heart the importance of just whom we are praying to. My purpose was to enforce upon our minds how our attitudes affect our Christian Prayer Life. Prayer is not always getting our way with our God, but experiencing Him in our requests and His desires for our lives. I also wanted my readers to see from the scriptures, the prayers of some of the people in the Bible. In the last chapters of my book I also discussed Ten Major Hindrances to our prayer life. These hindrances can creep into our Christian Prayer Life without our being aware of the disastrous results, which affect our daily relationships with God, and our Christian response to answered prayer.

Finally, I brought everyone to the five basic ways that I believe, God does answer our prayers. Not always a popular discussion to have with praying Christians because we feel that whatever we ask in Jesus' Name should be confirmed in answered prayer, as we understand it. Whether we express this reality or not, it is always our expectation.

My second book is titled My Answers, Teach Us How to pray. My second book was a basic answer to the questions that were asked in writing of my first book. I discussed a similar outline concerning our worship during our prayers. I also expanded the outlook of my second book by adding a postscript concerning 'our transformation' and a chapter on faith as the foundation of spiritual strength, concluding with an introduction of 'What Does the Salvation Response Look Like' which is included, in my third book.

In This, My third book,' What Does The Salvation Experience Look Like'

I have written on the subject of the salvation experience by moving away from prayer into the actual application of our Christian conversion and what it actually looks like beyond the basic Salvation Experience. We have to allow our inner man to evolve and motivate our actions during our Christian Experience as a development in brotherly love. This is my endeavor, in my current book, to open the eyes of Christians to the reality of what has taken place after we accept Christ as our Personal Savior. This is our Reflexive Christianity operating in our daily lives developed from Robotic Training. Enjoy. I also include a chapter on the 12 steps that Christianity is not easy. mec

    I. INTRODUCTION

Psalm 85:11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

Revelation 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

I am grateful for my Christian beginning, even though, in all reality, I started my church beginnings in a Quaker Church on 6th and Sylvan street in Emporia, Kansas. The name of the church is The First Friends Church and it is facing Sylvan Street on the corner where Sylvan street intersects with 6th street. It was in that church that I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I had happy memories of my experience with the people of that church. I actually accepted Jesus Christ as more of my savior than Lord. I am still learning about the Lordship of Jesus Christ as I live my life. That church experience was short lived, since my mother Ida Carolyn Axe Cater married Raymond Dean Olson and we moved to Marengo, Illinois. This chain of events was devastating to me at that time. I had just passed the 6th grade at William Allen White School, Emporia, Kansas, and was going to enter Emporia Junior High the following fall when this all began.

I eventually joined the Independent Baptist Church and have been in that Denomination for the rest of my life.

I have been a Christian for 50 plus years and have lived in over 13 different towns and cities: I have been a member of over 7 different Baptist Churches. In 1963, I studied for 3 years at Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. I say all this so you, my reader, will know what the effect the training and knowledge that I have received from many teachers and Preachers during my life has affected my thinking and spiritual beliefs. I was an active member of the Fundamental Baptist Churches during my early Christian life. I have also been a member of the General Association of Regular Baptists Churches and now attend a Southern Baptist Church in Lawrence, Kansas. It is, however, the influence of the Fundamental Baptist Churches that have dominated my thinking and practice over the years.

I was not emotionally mature enough, when we moved from Emporia, Kansas, to completely give up my home, my friends, my school, and my familiar lifestyle, for places and people unknown. My Step dad worked for List and Clark Construction Company at that time, so he moved wherever the Job took him. That is why I was uprooted, because my mother had remarried a construction worker, so we moved to his current place of employment, Marengo, Illinois. My step dad was a nice and understanding person and we got along fine. He was an honest, hardworking man and very practical in his living philosophy. This part of my changed lifestyle did not bother me as much as making new friends and going to a strange school. I survived. My church (Christian Growth) did not fare so well until we moved back to Ottawa, Kansas two years later.

These events did change my church attendance and hindered my Spiritual Growth. When we moved back to Ottawa, Kansas two years later I was relieved. My step dad was now working construction on the Ottawa, Kansas flood levee on the Marais-De-Cygnes River that travels through the town.

While working on this Construction Project, my step dad bought a farm outside of Pomona, Kansas. This is a farm town of about one thousand people, at that time, just 20 miles west of Ottawa, Kansas. I transferred to the Pomona High School at the end of the school year and enrolled in the 12th grade. I was on the second string basketball team and a starter on the 8 man football team. Pomona High only had about 100 students. My senior class numbered about 26 students. This life situation was great.

I had a beautiful girlfriend; Barbara M. Hook and we went to church together every Sunday and Wednesday. She lived one mile away around the section of country roads. This was my journey back into church attendance. It was a small Baptist Church in Quenemo, Kansas and was only 5 miles west of Pomona, Kansas. It had a Fundamental Baptist Church affiliated with the Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri.

Barbara M. Hook and I were married after graduating high school in the summer of 1962, at Quenemo, Kansas. I was employed at Cheney's Farm Markets (a small grocery store group) in Ottawa, Kansas. After one year, I took a job at Van's Food Center in Olathe, Kansas: Owned by Bob and Dick Vanlerburg.

We joined the Bonner Springs Baptist Church in Bonner Springs, Kansas where we attended for a few years. This church was also a Fundamental Baptist Church affiliated with Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. It was at this church that I surrendered to preach and decided to attend Baptist Bible College. Baptist Bible College is a Fundamental Bible Teaching College and I, therefore, was further introduced to the Fundamental Bible Doctrine. This doctrine is not a radical Bible teaching, but It is much more conservative than the Bible Doctrines of many churches today.

I introduce all this background to my readers just to give an idea from which I come. I will not go into the Biblical teaching details that I learned at this time because of the frustration that it might cause. I will, however, detail these teachings that I was influenced by as we travel through my main body of this book.

    II. SALVATION

My main concern, in writing this book, is to give us the basic understanding from the Scriptures as to what the Salvation Experience really looks like. Most Christians shy away from the fact that after salvation there are many serious changes in our attitudes and actions that should become evident in our daily lives. However, through the teachings of the Church, These initial responses are replaced by giving Christians directions that are called good works or obedient acts. Even though the church doctrine does not condone Salvation by works it actually places spiritual works in the doctrine of sanctification for a perfect obedience to the Gospel. This teaching of good works, which is taught by the church, would set the Christian free from sin in their daily life. Good works are emphasized to reduce the temptation of sin. This teaching of works, which is taught by the church, will make the Christian Holy. Good works is working to allow holiness to dominate over sin. After all, this is God's admonition for all Christians to be Holy as I am Holy. 1 Peter 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; (lifestyle, living)

1 Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. The stumbling block lies, in the teaching from scriptures, that we cannot do anything, of ourselves, to help us to attain salvation, or make our salvation more secure. This teaching from the Bible, of course, is true. It should allow us to evaluate our actions that have become a part of the New Birth in salvation. We Christians, therefore constantly sugarcoat the teachings from the Bible that encourage and
