About this ebook

The majority of my poems would come to me while I was asleep in my bed. I would wake up with these
thoughts in my head and I knew I had to turn on the light and jot them down. I would always be amazed that I was able to come up with these words that rhyme. I feel truly Blessed that I can do this.

Poems from the Heart - Renee Glaze

    1. Five Of My Many Blessings

I love my babies, they fill me with such joy. Like a refreshing morning dew and the sight of a beautiful sunset too. From Bianca to Eric then came Isaiah you see. And the last one I had was little Hope Alee. Then God blessed me with my first grandbaby. That made me even prouder to be me. Every time I see my children’s smiling faces I’m thankful for being so blessed. I hope each and every one of them knows how much I love them. So with every breath I take I pray God’s blessings upon them. That He will forever and always keep his wings of protection around them.

    2. Thank You Lord

Lord, I thought at times to give You thanks for the gift of rhyme. Whoever thought that I’d find time to put together words so sweet somewhat unique. The thoughts of my mind bring me to find I have a gift of gab with a pen and pad. Lord, I had to proclaim this gift from You. Because like I said who would ever know I’d sit down and write, and my words would take flight to come out the way they do. Thanks doesn’t seem enough, even though it may have seemed tough. You brought this gift right out of me. I am glad that I was chosen to bring forth words unspoken for one to hear and some to see that there’s a gift of gab to be written upon a printed page. And my hand is guided by You.

    3. Seek And Ye Shall Find

I ask for an answer, but I’m not satisfied with what I am given. I seek to find but the way is hidden. I knock to enter but the door does not open. It cracks so I may take a peek, a peek is not what I seek. I am told that if it were to open to me all at once, comprehension would not be attained. So I’m left in confusion with a small delusion that in time my eyes will see, my ears will hear, my brain will reflect
