Minister Ray

Minister Ray was born in Detroit Michigan where he grew up in a Pentecostal church. Both his parents became ministers there. At about 10 years old his family moved over to Germany while both his parents worked for the U.S. government. Over in Germany Minister Ray ran track for Kaiserslautern American High School. He made it to the European finals. After that he went pro running for FCK1 track team with a couple of his high school friends. Upon returning to the USA he attended school at West Georgia University. He left school after a couple of semesters and moved to Hampton Virginia, where his older brother was serving in the Air Force at Langley Air Force base. Minister Ray started selling diamonds and gold for Harris (Charge) Jewelers where he made Assistant Manager. Within a couple months he would lead the entire jewelry chain in sales, specializing in "moms gifts" for the sailors at Norfolk Naval Base. After a couple years he moved to Texas where his older brother, future sister in law, and neice were. There he worked for Zales Jewelers, leading the chain in credit applications. After about 8 months he and his brother moved to California to manage the music industry and open a jewelry store in Beverly Hills. After 6 months in California he joined the U.S. Navy. Since then he's been ministering in Alabama at his fathers church. He has released 1 CD called "Preview". His next CD "That He Gave" is being released summer 2013.

When i got word that he was hurt the doctor said that i should not get my hopes up that he would live. God gave him a glimpse of the other side. CHAPTER 1

My Testimony

There were donuts at the U.S.O. at Ohara airport. Within the next few hours we’d be in bootcamp at Recruit Training Command. My job in the Navy would be a Cryptologic Technition. (It was chosen over being a mililtary police officer). What was I thinking. Anyhow, the wait is over, we’re now loading on the bus to RTC. I’d actually be a military man. Boy I’d make a career and everbody would be proud.

We’re at RTC. Everyone in the Navy goes to RTC. It’s dark outside. There wouldn’t be any sleep until the next night unless you dosed off in
