She wrote for the college paper and won first prize for her story Zerxes Theory with Chimes Magazine. Jo has been writing since fourth grade and considers it a gift from God. She has always been her own person and likes to quote Kipling regarding her spiritual life: From down to Gehenna and up to the Throne he travels fastest who travels alone. HEAVEN BOUND is her first fictional book regarding the Bible and spiritual truth. She taught Biology and A & P Labs in Dallas Colleges and retired in 2001. Jo has two daughters, a son and son in law that share her passion of rescuing cats, kittens and other animals and finding them homes.view less
