About this ebook

Adventures of a Choirboy is a detailed account of Mohammed Alis Out-of-Body Experience (OBE). As a teenager, Alis adventures took him into the spiritual realm or the world of the spirit as some call it.

OBE is a situation in which a persons spirit (the inner man), moves temporarily out of his or her physical body, the same way an astronaut striped off his space suit would stand beside his empty suit.

OBE was a rare and strange phenomenon, so Ali kept this experience to himself, until he discovered through books that: OBE is a universal subject, although, some consider it a purely spiritual phenomenon; some aspects of it (OBE) has been scientifically proven through experiments.

Prominent amongst the books are Kenneth E Hagins The Threefold Nature Of Man and Perry Stones Secrets from Beyond the Grave. Much later, Ali was introduced by TL Lizzy to EA Adeboyes Abundant Life After Death; Open Heavens Daily Devotionals of 26th February 2016 and Kenneth E Hagins I Believe in Visions.

In this compelling book, Ali recounts for the first time his adventures out of his physical body. This true life story also provides answers to some unvoiced inquiries that only a few would ask their Rabbis, Pastors, Imams or Spiritual Mentors. Such as: Is the inner man a myth or a reality? How does human spirit look like? How is the world of the spirit look like? What is OBE and what do our scriptures say about it? mohammedalibooks@gmail.com

The Adventures of a Choirboy rekindles memories of our teenage choir days. Back then, Ali (author), Von (now Bishop) and I, often looked forward to joining our Pastor in mid night prayers, in our small church in the woods. To keep warm and awake during the cold windy nigh; we enjoyed hot tea and breads. We were young, healthy, adventurous and reverenced God. IOB Donald.

    About the Author

    Dedication

To all our beloved aged ones including my Mum and Dad, Mr and Mrs Le Blanc and other elderly ones who have perceived, like Apostle Paul, that they are about to finish their race, having fought the good fight and kept the faith. They are eager to know more about the after-life, especially about the crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous Judge, has laid up for them to give to them on that Day, and not to only them but also to all who have loved His coming".1

To TL Lizzy, the beautiful one, and other ladies like Binta, who at some point in their lives had OBE and are curious about my own experience too. TL Lizzy was my cheer leader. She believed in my story and gave me Kenneth Hagin’s book I believe in Visions to encourage me to tell my story. She has been with me in meetings where some Christians (even pastors) deny the reality of OBE

To all the choristers, to Phillip, especially Von, now the Presiding Bishop Epignosis Church, to Mr IOB Donalds now a major player in our country’s insurance and to my amiable choirmaster whom my unexpected death alarmed as OBE was then unknown to us as one of God’s mediums of conveying messages.

To David, Dan and other boys represented by Billy who desire to learn about the spirit realm and also assisted me in documenting this account.

    Foreword

Permit me to say it is an honour and privilege to write the foreword of this book The Adventure of a Choirboy

I am delighted that I was part of the choir team when he was caught up into the celestial world. We were baffled and confused; little did we know that God had chosen that day to communicate something to our generation and the coming generation. The whole happening can be summed up in the words of Apostle Paul:

The men travelling with Saul stood there speechless; they heard the sound but did not see anyone. Acts 9:7 NIV

To me the greatest loss we have suffered in the world is the inability to pass to the coming generations a spiritual heritage (which includes biblical encounters) that validate that God is still in the business of talking to His people. This book is one of its kind.

Enjoy the encounter; it is not a theological write up but a simple experience from the stylus of a young man that God chose to reveal His story to. My sincere prayer is that this book will whet your appetite for the supernatural.

Always remember that every day is a common day but in every common day there are uncommon encounters.

    Regards

    Ayo-Von Lawal

    Epignosis Church

    Prologue

‘Adventures of a Choirboy’ is a detailed account of my adventure into a mysterious world, the spiritual world or the realm of the spirit – as some call it. It answers many questions; enquiries that many of us find too embarrassing to ask our priests, imams, spiritual mentors, and so on, for fear of being ostracised and subsequently excommunicated (in some cases). Such questions include whether there is proof of a human spirit, or if man is merely a biological entity like an amoeba or at best a homo sapien (the advanced stage of animal evolution) that dies, and his existence is eternally forgotten - as evolutionists want the entire human race to believe.

This book explores evidences of life after death and vividly explains the reality of the human spirit and the differences between the Spirit, Soul, and Body. It also gives insight into the age-old mystery called ‘Out-of-Body’ experience.

Generally, an Out-of-Body Experience (OBE, or sometimes called OOBE) is simply a situation in which a person’s spirit moves temporarily out of his or her physical body. Such a person actually sees his spirit (the real him or the inner man) walk out of his physical body and stand separately outside his physical body, the same way an astronaut or fire-fighter would step out of his space or fireproof suit. He would be alert, fully awake and would clearly see his environment, even though his physical eyes are closed.

OBE is a universal subject that goes beyond religion or faith. Though some consider it a purely spiritual phenomenon, some aspects of it have been scientifically proven through experiments. I am therefore sticking to a simple narration of my story without expressing any
