About this ebook

My Testimony

As I walked inside the little church house
my mind drifted back to a day
when I was a lost sinner
and didn't know how to pray.

The church then begin singing
of how Jesus wanted to save
and on the old cross of Calvery
to us his life he gave.

Then in the back I heard shouting
prasies to Jesus on high
I know in my heart that moment
Hell was my home if I died.

Then something inside of me happened
the spirit of Jesus took hold
I knew the Altar was waiting
and to it I must go.

At the Altar I knelt on my knees and to the Lord I did pray then a small voice from Heaven said, get up my child you're saved.

Today I'm so thankful that the Lord cared enough for me he gave me a home in Heaven he saved me and set me free..

    This book is dedicated to:

The most precious persons in my life

    My Grandchildren . . .

    Austin 14, Jessica 8, and Jordan 7

This book of poems is about a lot of things and people my Saviour, my husband, my grandchildren, and my two daughters and many more that I love and I am very close to.

They are dear to me and all of them are true, none of them are fiction. I didn’t know I had this gift until I woke up one night and a small voice telling me to write it down, that was my Testimony. I never missed a word and all of it rhymed. That was Jesus showing me I could do something besides being a wife and a mother. I’m thankful for this gift and I hope someone out there will enjoy reading them.

    May God bless you all.

    Mablene Jenkins

    An Animal I’d Be

If I could be an animal,

I’d pick one special to me.

That would be a fuzzy kitten

that runs and plays in leaves.

Someone would take care of me,

    and feed me every day.

    They would rube my fur,

and always have plenty to say.

    I’d have a cozy
