Tinika Sumlin is the mother to one child, and she is also a licensed therapeutic foster care mother. She graduated from high school, then attended a local technical college where she received a certificate in early childhood development. She has fostered over 20 children. She is truly a loving, caring, understanding, and awesome woman of God. In her spare time she enjoys reading and writing, but most of all she loves cleaning, cooking, motherly duties, and taking care of her home and family.

Tinika's resilience, confidence, and strong faith in God was a recurring theme throughout the book that made it hard to put down. I truly admire her for sharing her story and dedicating her life to helping others.
