About this ebook
purpose after her husband, Ernest died. She began to write short stories as
a way to remember the full life she had experienced. She began to share
her stories while taking a writing class. Everyone seemed to enjoy her stories as
they were inspiring, cheerful, and genuine. She was encouraged by her instructor,
Chuck, to consider writing a book. These are some of her stories of her experiences
as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. As an only child
she always had a dream of having a large family, and as the title implies, Its possible,
It Happened to Me. She is hopeful that her stories will show how life is all about
attitude, and faith. This is not only her legacy to her family, but to all who strive
each day to find purpose.
Libby Sanchez
Libby Sanchez is an eighty-six year old mother of ten, grandmother of forty-five, and great grandmother of fifty-six. She was an only child who grew up hoping to fall in love, get married, and raise a family. While in high school, she met, and shortly after high school married the love of her life, Ernest. She was married for sixty-six years and became an author at the age of eighty-four after her husband’s death. She now lives alone in Los Lunas, New Mexico and continues to look at life with a healthy dose of humor and realism. She continues to say that we always have a choice in how to look at life. She says, “You Can be Happy or You Can be Sad.” It’s possible, it happened to me.
