Debra Ann Furino

Debra Ann Furino was born in Brooklyn, New York and lived there for most of her life. In 1972, she married the love of her life, Frank Furino. They have two sons, Frank and Vincent, and one daughter, Genna, and three beautiful grandchildren. Debra and family relocated to Florida in 1989. In 2003, Debra began her physical encounter with multiple sclerosis. In prayer, she felt inspired by God to write this book to help others find hope in their lives.

My life has been a roller coaster, up and down, but I’ve always had one person by my side who has balanced me out . . . my husband, Frank. He has been with me through all my trials. He provides for all my needs and more. He truly is my soul-mate. Where would I be without him?

My daughter, Genna, my angel from God, has been a inspiration and help to me. I am also so thankful for my two wonderful sons, Frank and Vincent, who are a constant source of love.

Special acknowledgement to my Mom and Dad, and Frank’s Mom and Dad, and all my family who were always there for encouragement.

One morning, at the approximate age of around forty-nine (I am now 56, in the year 2010), I woke up and from the waist down I was completely numb.
