    Believer’s To Do List

    Dear Believer,

Because you have chosen Self-Study of the 10 Commandments, you will grow in understanding of the fundamental elements of living a successful life within God’s value system.

Self-Study of the 10 Commandments covers the chapter of Exodus 20. Although the study guide is designed so that you can learn at your own pace, I recommend the following approach in using the study guide to maximize your learning.

    1. Plan to study a commandment a week.

    2. Weekly, let the theme of each lesson settle into your heart.

    3. Answer the study questions prayerfully and in detail. The questions will help you connect to the scriptures and open the door for you to gain new awareness of God’s word.

    4. Make a commitment to implement the Change Challenge and ask God to help you. James 1:22 says, But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. This is your opportunity to make personal adjustments in order to align yourself with the word of God.

Allow God’s value system to become your value system. I know you will experience a personal freedom and a closer relationship with God as you align your life to His!

    Blessings,

    Pastor Michele Alanis
