Overall, my contribution is designed to mark phases of own experience as well as to enlighten, motivate, and provoke thought for the reader who might express an interest in a related idea.
Dwight Francis
Dwight Francis was born in Jamaica, West Indies. He grew up in South Florida. He earned his bachelor of arts in public administration from Florida Memorial College, and a master’s degree in counselor education from Florida Atlantic University. He is also certified in educational leadership. Francis is a high school guidance director who is an aspiring assistant principal. He has composed poetry for family, friends, and colleagues alike, to express his love, acceptance, encouragement, and appreciation.

DAD
Dad, life is good, and I am so glad you are my dad, I can’t imagine otherwise. Your love of God and family has been the pinnacle of your life, and you have exemplified his faithfulness. Tis’ so sweet that you have captured the heart of the most beautiful lady in the world, mom, and together, yielded a healthy and sacred marriage of thirty years. Your relationship built from the bond of steel that no obstacle can break, it is this foundation I hope to emulate.
Together, you have raised six precious children. Conrad, Irvin, Dwight, Valerie, Ivor, and Maureen, we are one, yet different, distinct, and creative in our own way. We represent the image of God’s likeness, flesh of your flesh, bone of your bone. I hope you are as proud a father as we are of
