About this ebook
Writing these poems helped me come to terms with the sadness associated with aging but also making the best of it.
I pray this book may uplift and encourage others going through the many trials of life.

Dedication
I would like to dedicate this book first of all to my family and friends, then to all people in the medical profession, healers, carers and those who make a wonderful difference in the lives of others.
May you be blessed, guided, and assisted in your mission whilst on Earth.
A Broken Mirror
A cracked picture frame can always be mended when impaired
But a mirror once broken can never be repaired!
A marriage once, twice or three times betrayed
Loses its lustre and the edges can become frayed.
For a relationship to flourish and to grow
Needs total trust, honesty, and respect to show.
Explaining how you think and feel is the key
To open the door to more love and inner security.
What has gone has gone and can never be replaced,
But a heart that is open and loving lives in grace.
A Garden In Crawley Down
This is such a bright and glorious day.
This is such a peaceful time to laugh and play.
This is a time for reflection and honour.
This is a time to visit old folks and bother.
This is a time for great joy and fulfilment.
This is a time for sweet success and contentment.
This is a time where I can say
I did my best and enjoyed my stay.
This is a time for me to grow and shine.
This is a time to connect with powers sublime.
This is a time to give out all I know.
This is a time to love, cherish, respect and to know.
This is a time to be more than I thought.
This is a time to share, trust, and give my support.
This is a time to expand my knowledge and learn.
This is a time to mend, unite, and discern.
This is a time to be acknowledged and loved.
This is a time to receive rewards from above.
This is time to break loose and free.
This is a time to face life and my destiny.
Holy Spirit
I sincerely trust my Lord.
We walk together in one accord.
My faith is strong, I carry on,
Keeping His counsel, I overcome.
Resonating with His Holy Spirit and having fun,
I have love and respect for everyone.
For we are all children of the Universe.
We are from the same Godhead and source.
So let us try to get along with each other.
To honour, respect, and help our sisters and brothers.
Let us strive for unity in everything we do,
Being like-minded, brave, honourable, and true.
Have concern for other people too,
And you will be rewarded by a fulfilment true.
This will last your whole life long until this journey ends,
And you will be successful your whole life, my friend!
A Park In Tunbridge Wells
I’m sitting in a beautiful garden in England and
Masses of pale pink roses are in front of my hand.
The stems and flowers are dancing in the breeze.
The wind is cool but it doesn’t chill or freeze.
The leaves are shining and glistening in the sun;
Their vibrant blooms are opening out to everyone.
The darker shrubs behind are varied and dense,
Hiding the sight of a small black fence.
The quaint tea-room has hanging baskets outside.
The blue and red flowers are cascading over the side.
The dark green foliage is swaying in the wind current.
The gray clouds overhead have obscured the sun for a moment.
They are heavy and pregnant with future rain,
But hopefully they will move on and momentum gain.
For the sun wants to pour down her sweet hot rays
To brighten up this nature walk in all ways.
I am now approaching the Italian gardens up the stairs.
There are masses of multi-coloured flowers there.
On the left are different types of lavender, purple and blue,
And a few pale mauve and pink blossoms too.
The privets are a deep symphony of colour of gold and green,
In beautiful squares and rectangle shapes to be seen.
A stone sundial sits in the centre of the bed
But it no longer has its original shadowy head.
Poplar trees are on the circumference together with roses red
And purple petunias are behind the wooden seat where I am led.
This really is a very pretty, delightful place indeed.
This park has everything a person could desire or need.
I am sure I will
