    Why I Wrote This Book…..

In my life’s encounters I have often found that we somehow always just miss conveying to one another what we really feel, or what we really believe, or ultimately, what we want each other to know. Somehow, it gets lost in translation, interpretation, or communication. However it happens, we are losing something every time that we can never recover. We can’t keep losing whatever it is, love, relationship, friendship, spirituality, money, or even the last look. Life is but a whisper; it is gone in the flickering of the twilight. I pray we receive, absorb, collect and have more. I ask God for this every day. I was told I was always trying to prove something that no one ever believed. I was also told that I was also too idealistic. God tells us to prove him; it is his challenge to us to find out if his word is true. I proclaim, testify and bear witness his word and mercy endureth. He is, was, and will always be sovereign. So, I write because it all starts as a seed, and that seed is thought. I write, not about what we think, but how we have been programmed to think. I offer my suggestions for thinking well. I am not asserting that I have the answer, the silver bullet, or the magic pill. I do know that if I have anything to share, lend or enlighten, then I must, and thus, I give you my reflections. Think Well!

    The Journey Continues…

For as he thinketh in his heart so is he. Proverbs 23:7:

    1st Quarter…

You ever feel like you were on the inside, but you were looking from the outside? Like, you were right there but everything around you was a half a step slow? You might be locked in Marion County. It’s a mind set I’m sure exists the world over so don’t let the name fool you. I sort of believe that it’s not what you think, as much as how you think. Trouble is, most of us have been taught to think the wrong way. Now I’m not here to tell you I have all the answers. However, what works best for me are things like metaphors, and parables, you know, like the bible. Always better to show someone something that’s not so attached to you, seems they get it better that way, and believe it or not that’s the first step. Get the thought or thing away from you. Ain’t about you anyway, it’s about the way you think. You know how you take a test, and they tell you if you don’t know the answer to the question go to the next question. Now, your mind doesn’t start working harder, believe it or not, it just starts working better. The minds a beautiful thing if you let it do its thing. Now, back to that question, have you got the answer yet? Yea, I thought so. It’s not so hard. You let your mind take the question, and when you did, walla. Now here’s the parable. Proverbs 1:7 says, Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom, and instruction. Think on that one for a second, and then ponder the gospel of the Spinners. (For yawl that are not knowledgeable get on the Internet and search for 70’s R&B) It takes a fool to learn, and I’ve learned Well, I think we’ve got a decent start. Don’t want to throw too much at you too soon. By, the way read these one day at a time and commiserate, meditate, or plain stop trying to think about it and let it marinate a while. We’ll talk about the parable and define phimisms tomorrow, peace.
