Heartbreaks and Revelations is a collection of poems for the broken hearted. Overflowing expresses the feeling of so much love for someone elsetoo much love, perhapswhile you forgot to love yourself. Cold expresses the chill of a closed-off heart. In the Crowd bemoans the emptiness of a crowded city when your beloved is no longer around.

True, there is pain in this poetry and prose. Yet, author M. T. Haris does not wish to simply wallow in the agony of lost love. No, she believes that it doesnt matter how many times you fall. It does not matter how many times you get hurt. What matters is that you never give up hope and realize that through every heartbreak there is meaning and inspiration.

Intermezzo

Every single time we fight,

I die a little inside.

But it doesn’t make me

fall

out

of

love

And I can be strong,

if you want me to be.

If this is not meant to last, then I don’t know what love is anymore.

Overflowing

I think I’m becoming a little out of my head

since I can’t keep you from occupying my thoughts

even if it’s not reciprocated

Perhaps this is my drawback.

I have the tendency of sparing all my love

while leaving nothing left for myself.

If Only

If only life was a dream,

and love was certain.

If only I could be alone,

then I wouldn’t try to breakaway.

But life is hard,

and love is complicated.

If things went as intended,

I wouldn’t be standing here.

To yearn for the impossible

and the temptation of giving up

lacking self confidence

thus nothing can be taken back

If only love was real

If only it was you and I

Pain

I am a slave of love.

My love is 150%

and it multiplies every day

I want to crumble and break.

I want to disappear.

My heart hurts.

It hurts 100 times more than yesterday

So bad that I have been stabbed.

I want to discard of it,
