    LIFE’S TALE

    The experience of life can only be told as tales.

    We start as toddlers and experience each and every phase of life. Each and every one of these phases is a reality of ourselves and a pigment of another person’s imagination. We are faced with challenges of which there is little or no need for competition whatsoever. The very moment when we live with competition for no reason whatsoever, then there is a 70 percent chance of failure.

    Challenges present themselves in two ways—one of which is a means to an end and the other is a means of survival. The means to an end is competing for what you believe others are also there for and you feel that you deserve it much more than the others. Now it is paramount to put in mind that, in as much as you think you deserve it, so do the other competitors. It is also wise to know that they will do virtually anything to get it, even if it means getting at you. But don’t just do anything to earn it. Do something that separates you from the rest. This is because doing anything might just be throwing away everything you stand to achieve. Do away with desperation and curiosity, because when these two meet, they beget frustration, and frustration only brings destruction of oneself.

    On the other hand, the challenge of survival is very personal because nobody’s effort is to your own mischief or progress, as the case may be. Every man works for the betterment of his own life without looking much at another person’s progress or regress, but I often advise that if, at all, there is a reason to look at one’s progress, then it should be to inspire you as a source of incentive.

    Looking at my life so far, I have gone to school and finished not just by my effort but also by the power of the almighty God through the relentless effort of those who believed in me like my parent, teachers, lecturers, and friends to whom I might not be worth anything. But I need to be worth something to their effort throughout their years of tutoring me and supporting me in different ways. This is not because it adds anything to their pocket but because it makes them proud that those efforts are not wasted on their part. I couldn’t be
