FOREWORD
The pain of rejection is proportional to your expectations; it’s very rare to see the youth taking actions to overcome rejections and failure. But Stephans Tshepo Seopela makes it clear that rejection is not the final destination, regardless of how many times you tried. I am inspired by this book on how to handle rejection in a positive manner, and in chapter 1, the author tells us that rejection is not fatal.
I totally agree. Rejection is a matter of perspective—how one sees themselves. There a lot of things he taught me, and his work motivated me. He published his first book at the age of seventeen years old; I was honoured to be a part of the event when he officially launched his first book. Successful people get started before there are ready.
To be where I am today, it didn’t happen by chances but through failures and rejections. In life, you won’t reach for the stars if you don’t want pains. People reject you not because you aren’t creative or talented but because you pitch it to the wrong ears and eyes at the right place. No matter how tough it is to overcome rejection, I surely agree that this book is one that is unique and strategic on how to smile after you have been rejected.
We must admire that we are all winners. Winners never give up; the winner is you, not them. Stop judging, and observe; learn from others. After you read this book, I can assume that nothing will stop you through the journey of life. Success belongs to you. Regardless of how slow it may be, never give up.
Now it’s time to go out there. Get rejected, knowing that each time you do, your hunger grows until you finally succeed. Nothing lasts forever. Every pain of rejection and failure you feel, it shall pass. Use rejection as an opportunity to get better and keep going. Let rejection be a data point to make progress. Never see rejection as a destination but as information to get where you are going. This is why I agree with the author of this book that rejection is not the final destination.
I know you are ready to overcome fear of failure, fear of success, and fear of rejection. Take your time to read this book. You are a winner. The choice is yours. It’s achievable and possible.
