About this ebook

God sent his son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins so that our souls will be savedthat is the ultimate love, and no one will cross that boundary. Jesus came to earth to live the ungodly life. Instead, he was tortured, beaten, and killed in the cross with the known dangerous criminals, and that was done for me and you.

God chooses a legend from a mans seed, which is a sperm. However, he does not make his or her life easy. Instead, it contains disappointments, betrayal, tribulations, anguish, and deceit. As for Hamilton Nkosi, it was almost the same, and he became one of the richest men in the world.

    Morphine - Dumisani Bapela

    PART ONE

    CHAPTER 1

T here is a new company that has been launched, and both men and women are attending the event. Hamilton Nkosi, the founder and the chief executive officer is making the opening speech. He is wearing the blue suit, blue tie, white shirt, and black shoes.

‘Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for lending me your ears. Insurance Company offers services to a client due to an unknown future. For instance, for a death benefit, it covers when somebody dies unexpectedly. The car insurance covers if it get stolen or involved in an accident, and so on. I also thought about introducing the new crusade that will eliminate repossession of property from people who are insolvent to pay their mortgage by introducing the company that will purchase the unwanted property immediately unlike the estate agency that will put it on the market and waiting for the buyer to come in, in which that could take six months or more, but we do it immediately. I’m returning presumption and hope back to middle-class people who have been forgotten by the world. Allow me to proclaim a new company that will bring the financial emancipation, and it’s called Morphinne. My name, it’s Hamilton Bafana Nkosi, and once again, thank you for listening,’ said Hamilton.

Hamilton finally climbs off from stage and he goes to his childhood crony Joel Burke. In his arrival, they shook hands.

‘Your speech was great, nice, and short,’ said Joel with a smile.

‘Thank you. You know these days you should be short or else people will get bored,’ Hamilton said.

‘Man, have you told your wife about my appointment as your chief operating officer? I will forever be grateful for having faith in me even though I don’t have much qualifications and experience in running such a big organization that you’ve started,’ Joel said.

‘Yes, I told her. Speaking of the devil, there she comes.’

Hamilton’s wife, Doris, was accompanied by their adopted daughter Prudence Cele, their biological daughter Janet, and their son Milton. They also were sitting, listening to Hamilton’s speech.

Hamilton is thirty-seven years old, his wife Doris is thirty-six years old. Prudence, she is twenty years old, Janet is fifteen years old, and Milton is thirteen years old. When Hamilton’s family arrives, they reunited after a while since Joel last saw them a while ago and they chatted, laughed, and embraced until they departed to their different residents. The Nkosi went to their resident in Midrand. The following day, Hamilton and his wife rushed the kids to OR Tambo.

The kids are on their way to catch the flight to USA, as Prudence is doing the second year for the bachelor of arts in one of the universities, and both Janet and Milton are in high school in another city.

    CHAPTER 2

M orphinne is a financial company that Hamilton started after the closure of the company he worked for, as the senior accountant for ten years and three years as the financial manager. He also obtained a master’s degree in accounting.

Morphinne purchases the property of the client that is struggling to pay the mortgage to avoid being repossessed by the bank. If a person skip the payment for six months, then the name of that particular person automatically appears to Morphinne computer system before it could appear to South African Credit Bureau, and then the Morphinne consultant will visit the client to persuade him/her to sell before it get repossessed. Thus, its term and condition is that the property must be five years old or more and no arrears of payments.

Morphinne purchased the property by 65 per cent of its present market value, which will pay the outstanding settlement to the bank that has been owed by the client and the difference goes to the client, 15 per cent goes to tax and 20 per cent goes Morphinne.

The challenge is that, Morphinne purchase the property immediately, and they have to sell it with the original market value, then the client will be free from burden but the company could stay with the property for a year or more with out being purchased and other factors that can be negative it’s when the interest rate hikes, the trend on house purchase will decline.

    CHAPTER 3

I t has been three years since Morphinne was established, and its revenue is doing well. However, it has its ups and downs. Hamilton’s daughter is now doing her law degree first year student in one of the universities in America, and Prudence is doing her final year for her bachelor’s degree.

It is 10.30 a.m. and Hamilton, his wife, and the entire team are in their various offices doing their respective jobs. Hamilton’s secretary, Shirley Watson, came knocking in his door to inform him about a man who looks sixty wants to see him, and he
