How is a joint account treated for probate?
Q My wife, my son and I have a three-way account in a building society. My wife and I also have a separate joint account, and a joint bank account. My son has Power of Attorney for both Property and Finance and Health and Welfare and he is also executor of our Wills.
Do any of these funds have to be declared for probate or do the funds pass to the survivor or survivors?
