Can you help with a problem with HMRC?
Q Can you please help my wife and myself following months of problems with HMRC?
My wife suddenly started to receive demands from HMRC for quite large amounts. She wrote letters to them and received no reply. She then rang, often hanging on for well over an hour, felt she had sorted it, only then to receive further demands.
In March 2021 she wrote a letter of complaint and, yet again, there was no response. Before Christmas last year I started to get demands too, even though I had already paid extra tax, like my wife. After Christmas we rang HMRC
