Poetry is to explore poets imagination to get to the realism .
It is a medium of mental gymnast for the readers to obtain the gist by reading
between the lines .
This first literary poetic work is a sincere effort by the poet Dr Rajni Agnihotri to make the readers acquainted with this musical medium .
Her love for poetry generated after her academics .The poet completed her graduation, post graduation ,B.Ed and doctorate from C S J M university,Kanpur.
Currently she is serving as an English Teacher in St Don Bosco College. Besides poetry she excels in classical singing as well . She has diploma in Vocal Music to her credit from Prayag Sangeet Samiti , Allahabad. She is also adept in dance and has organised innumerable programmes at college level guiding the troupe as a skilled choreographer.
Her love for literature is well reflected in her poetic literary form. Her live description of the locales and situations both grave and gay is well defined in this poetic work.

I dedicate my first poetic work to my dearest dad (Pitaji) late Sri M.L.Agnihotri, Head Department Of English, Y.D.College, Lakhimpur Kheri under whose supervision and guidance my poetry nurtured and reached its zenith.

Replacement of a person is hard to find. It is the memories, one gets strength and courage to tread the way. My poetic thoughts, having access to the readers, owing to my Pa’s positive support, timely counsel and instructions is my greatest achievement. One should write for self satisfaction this frequent quote, most of the times, when I was in the blues, kept my spirits alive and showed me favourable result. To him, I devote my this piece of writing, making him immortal in my this poetic ride.

TO THY HOLY PRESENCE

M y dedication to that Holy Divine

Whose blessings concealed, unknown,

Empowered me bring forth the reader

This greater task of mine.

Readers acquainted

To ope my vision,

Feelings deep dull

In my heart floated.

Thou were the mode

Improbable turned easier,

Path dark kindling

Poesy showed.

Endowing in me

My journey of life,

Endeavour rhyme, rhythmic

This gift thank Thee.

C aptured in frame

You are full of life in death.

Your eyes resting upon my face

Strengthen my agonies

And thousands of quizzes in my mind

About your presence in absence.

Your departure uproots

The belief of immortality

And leaves a bare heart.

An emptiness dwells

Where ever the glances reach,

And an endless search of your loving
