If there were no friends, the book would still be saved in some folder on my personal laptop’s hard disk.
These people always made me realise that the story has some kind of attraction in it and is a book material, may be without reading those lengthy pages of manuscript sometimes, May be they falsely commented to save our friendship but somehow I took it more seriously and these friends knowingly or unknowingly helped me to complete the Manuscript. Some of the names are Shweta, Dev, Pranesh, Jeet & Shivam who always forced me to complete the story. I want to thank all of them to keep me fuelled and motivated for same.
Special thanks to Publication team & especially Mr. Pohar who never lost his hope in me whenever I missed my deadlines & failed with my commitments. He was always polite and encouraged me to complete my work in spite of my busy work schedule.
My family; Parents Rajkishore Sen & Sunita Sen who always believed in me and made me believe that I have capabilities to touch the sky; my loving wife Sonam for all her love & care for me and the very new member of our family my loving child Monishka.

Chapter 1
SINGLE_TO_MINGLE
"Son, there are many things to deviate you in this world of illusion. There are things for which I may never discuss and you may never ask for guidance but it doesn’t mean that we will not care for each other. This happens with the time; understanding each other as friends is now more than a requirement to both of us. I will be with you in your bad times and I trust you that there will never be a bad time that you cannot share to me. I know you will conquer all the distractions & will be a good person.
I Trust you."
These were the words of a father to his only son before he leaves for his college. He has got admission in regional engineering college of the State with some good rank.
Rakesh… this is the name of the person who is son of this father.
He was about to join the regional college when his father told him these words and He ensured that these words as his moral values because according to him trust is a word that should never be destroyed by any known or unknown reasons because once trust destroys the relation will never be that same.
He was a good learner but never interested in scoring marks but to extract good knowledge from the books and teachers. So finally he completed his engineering with some presentable grades. He was in his own world, exploring work books in library, bunking the classrooms, enjoying with friends and exploring his creative works in his small workshop at his hostel room.
He was a simple guy, more than average in looks; a true friend who can do anything for his friends, in fact even his rivals used to love him for his helping & polite nature.
He had fought with some of his professors for his friends Mani & Rishabh. Mani was also a hosteller like Rakesh and Rishabh used to stay with his parents.
Friends are meant for enjoying, sharing and fighting their lives and watching these three together was the happiest thing according to mother of Rishabh. Whenever they had to plan for any night out or other adventures it was Rakesh who ensured the plan taking Mummiji in confidence (as he called mother of Rishabh in respect.)
During his engineering time both his friends had their girlfriends and they all used to enjoy and tried to convince him many time for being in a relationship, they used to tell him how a relationship is important in one’s life and why he should go for it.
But he has decided his own limitations and though some girls of college always tried to talk to him from the very 1st classes of the college; but he was always nervous while talking to girls in this way. He had many friends around him who were girls but he neither explored nor his heart pounded for any of them.
As life goes on; they completed engineering and all of them got placed with some struggle. All three of them were busy in their new life and trying to settle their lives down. Their friendship knot got more strengthen with these distances.
Mani & Rishabh were now committed to their respective girlfriends Rita & Kamini; and were very happy with their lives. The all five (including Spouses of Mani & Rishabh were like a family than friend).
And then this happened that day….The may 17th….Autumn was on its flow, the season who indicates the new life in trees; the month of happiness as farmers waits this month for the Indian monsoon. This may also be called as Month of life & Hope
as Mother nature gets a makeover after this month, Trees waits for their new leaves, farmers waits for their rain, and Rakesh…… Let’s see what was stored in the bucket of luck for him.
So that was just a normal day when all five friends were on skype for sharing their time on skype video call. They discussed old things, made fun of each other’s and then suddenly or intentionally topic moved towards marriage. Both the couples were sharing their plans for marriage proposals and other things when Rishabh asked Rakesh:
So Mr. lonely, what’s your plan about marriage. You are the one with best package between us; moreover you got the job of your choice. Now it’s your time to search for your better- half. Do think about it.
I had left these things with my parents
said Rakesh smiling.
But it’s not that way wrong, you can search the one and then discuss with your parents, there is nothing wrong to search your soul-mate
said Kamini.
Yes, you should think of or tell me if you need some help, I have many beautiful friends of mine who may want to talk to you.
chuckled Rita and all of then laughed after a pause.
So finally it worked with the all persuasions and Rakesh the Mr. Lonely as they called him, agreed to move his heart towards the rail of love, if destiny supports him.
So the month of life & hope created a new hope for his friends that now loneliness of their best buddy may be diverted to the rail of love.

Somewhere in Gujarat….
Rakesh was as usual busy in his work; he was transferred to Vadodara for some new assignments. Vadodara was one of the pleasant cities he had experienced in during his official visits to different parts India. He loved to live in a city like this, simple peoples, pleasant environment and variety of food and snakes.
He was not feeling well that day and his mind was not present in work, for some refreshment he logged in on face book and was surfing it randomly when he saw her profile, Puja Saxena; one of his mutual friend has commented on her profile picture. For the first time in his life he opened her profile and looked her profile picture.
The picture was taken somewhere in the balcony or terrace, she had worn a red top and dark blue jeans, background of the picture was not that pleasant as the paint of that old wall started to peel off but this helped his mind to concentrate on her more, he kept looking her for more than some 15 minutes and he felt some magnetizing effect in that picture of her and before coming back from that magnetizing effect to his normal situation he was forced to send her a friend request because for the 1st time he was listening the song of his heart, he experienced the 1st crush of his life; and he was very happy to see her for the first time.
After sending friend request to her, he surfed her profile details and watched all the snaps which were visibly open for visitors of the profile.
Somewhere in his mind that conversation of skype was punching him to go ahead in his life this time and thinking this he smiled to himself.
It’s been three days since that friend request has been sent to her but there was no response from her and Rakesh was unable to think out of her, His frequency of logging in and spending time on face book has been increased. In every notification he was expecting that this time the friend request confirmation notification will welcome him, but none of his thoughts worked… and with passing of each hour and days, his excitement started to go to negative level, he started feeling frustrated and depressed day by day. He
