Scene:
Danny 16, Franklin 13, Billy 12, and Jesse 11 were playing in the neighborhood park. They played basketball.
The boys were old friends from the second and third grade. The boys were very close. They played about four hours.
Jesse:
I have to take a leak man. time out.
Billy:
I’m going to the ice cream truck.
Franklin:
Buy me one Billy.
Billy:
Ok Frankie but then you’ll owe me three dollars.
Jesse:
Danny can you come with me and watch the bushes so nobody will see me? I got to pee bad, come on man.
Scene:
Danny was running towards the bushes when Jesse tripped him. He fell and busted his lips.
Jesse:
Aw man I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to do that I was just playing.
Danny:
I’m gonna kick your ass Jesse.
Scene:
Danny started chasing Jesse around. They ran fast and Danny was on Jesse’s heels. They ran in through some trees behind the park. Danny’s lips were bleeding. While they ran in a circle Jesse tried to reason with Danny.
Jesse:
Ok Danny I’m sorry. I can’t run anymore I gotta pee. Stop playing. I said I’m sorry man.
Scene:
Danny growled at Jesse and started chasing him again. Jesse ran around a tree and fell into a deep hole.
Danny stopped and looked down into the hole. Jesse was out cold. His legs were broken and his head was bleeding.
Danny looked around and ran back to the park. He was too scared to tell anybody. So he ran back to where Frankie and Billy were. Danny was sweating bullets.
Danny:
Give me some ice cream Billy. It’s hot out here.
Billy:
Where’s Jesse?
Danny:
He said that he was going home. He wasn’t feeling to good.
(Scene:) Danny went home as if nothing ever happened. Time past.
(Seven years later)
Scene:
Danny and his girlfriend Mary were necking at the same park where Danny left Jesse. They laid about ten feet from where the hole was. Danny was leary because he remembered what had happened to Jesse.
They had sex under a tree. While they were doing it Jesse’s spirit was floating like smoke getting closer and closer to Mary and Danny.
Danny had a strange feeling come over him. As he reached his peak of passion the smoke went into Mary’s stomach. They both screamed out with pleasure.
(Seven months later)
Scene:
Mary was in the labor room. The baby was coming. Mary was screaming and Danny was amazed he’d never seen no shit like that before.
Danny held Mary’s hand and tried to comfort her. After nine hours of hard labor pains the doctor gave Mary a C-Section. Mary and Danny had a beautiful baby girl.
Mary held her new daughter in her arms looking down at her. The baby looked up at her mother and father like she’s been here before.
Mary:
I think I’ll call her Millie. What do you think Danny?
Danny:
I like it. Millie it is. My beautiful baby girl Millie. You look just like your daddy.
(Seven years later)
Scene:
Millie began to have problems in school. One day Millie was in the girl’s restroom washing her hands. Two little girls came in and started laughing at Millie.
She was only seven years old and they were a little older then Millie. One girl unrolled a lot of tissue. She wet the tissue and through it at Millie.
The other girl laughed. Something came over Millie. She grabbed the one who threw the paper and choked her out. The girl was out cold.
Millie then snatched the other girl and scratched her up so bad that you couldn’t recognize her.
Millie and her mother ended up in the office.
Mary:
No ma’am Millie has never acted out in this way. I don’t know what came over her. I am very sorry about what happened.
Mrs. English my husband and I have separated and Millie is still sad about that.
I will seek help for my daughter. She still says that she don’t know what happened today. She said that the girls were throwing wet paper at her and laughing.
She says that someone else was there.
Mrs. English:
Once again Mrs. Cosey, the girls said that Millie was alone with them. She still has dry blood on her hands.
Scene:
Millie looked down at her fingers and curled them. She didn’t want her mama to see the blood.
The Principle ended the meeting.
When Mary and Millie arrived home, Mary chastised Millie in the kitchen.
Mary:
Millie you better stop lying to me. I know you did that to those girls. What I want to know is why?
Millie:
Mama I don’t remember. I don’t know what happened. There was someone else there.
Mary:
I told you to stop the bullshit. Go and get that belt off my bed.
Millie:
But mama I… I didn’t do nothing. I don’t want a whooping mama.
Mary:
I don’t care what you want. I’m kicking your ass until you tell me the truth.
Scene:
Mary went into her room and grabbed the belt. She came back and whooped Millie. She beat her for about ten minutes. Millie still didn’t remember anything.
Mary stopped hitting her and went into the bedroom. Mary left Millie sitting on the kitchen floor crying. Millie blacked out. All of a sudden there were loud noises coming from the kitchen.
Dishes were crashing to the floor. The refrigerator was laying on it’s side. The stove was pulled out from the wall and the table was turned over.
Millie wasn’t big enough nor was she strong enough to move those things. Millie stood in the middle of the kitchen. She opened her eyes and saw the mess that was piled up around her.
Mary ran into the kitchen. Mary knew that Millie couldn’t do those things. They were just too heavy.
Mary:
Millie what happened here?
Millie:
I don’t know mama. I don’t remember.
Scene:
Mary took Millie by the hand and led her over the glass and food on the floor. She sent Millie to her room. Mary made a call to Danny.
Mary:
Danny I need your help. Something is wrong with Millie. She’s been getting in trouble since you moved out. I went to the school this morning.
Millie almost killed two little girls in the bathroom today. She
