However, you will be privileged to learn them first before others, because you are learning from the source itself in this discourse — God the Holy Spirit. After experiencing this nudge of idea and knowledge of truths that have been hidden but reserved only for the latter days of divine revelation to humanity, you will not be who you were, but would be immediately transformed to be a herald of good tidings about the greatness that is to come … to others … that they may not remain less as they have always been, but become the greatest of their kind like God alone is. You will be celebrating your own victory in maximal greatness while you share these secrets with others who will praise you. Your greatness will not be hidden. But will be seen as thick as your skin in your outward appearance. This work has been written to be the best discourse on GOD among others, and for you to know the secrets to praiseworthy greatness.

Do you know: You always have the opportunity to spell your name on the bill board as a great person? But that opportunity can be utilized only when you’ve first known how to deal with the people around you. Bear in mind that the people around you are part of those who will spread your fame when you become great after now, so present yourself as that great person to them, by minding what you do and how you do them as well as minding what you say and how you say them. God is your model of greatness and take for instance, ever since he alone has been God, you know, he has not been known to have said anything back at someone who hauls insults at him, he hears but remains mute, and no one insults him twice. So too, you can stop people from insulting you by hearing but remaining mute like God.

I don’t think you won’t like to be praised for being who you are. Let who you are … be like who God is, and you will be praised for being who you are. You don’t seem yet to know how you can be like who God is. Don’t worry. After completing this discourse, you will not only know but also be transformed into what you know, because this is an action-packed discourse on Praiseworthy Greatness for you.

DEDICATION

Praiseworthy Greatness is a work of great difference dedicated to the Holy Spirit — the spirit of great difference in holiness, truth, love, wisdom and understanding, who proceeds from the Father and son, and together with the Father and the Son, is adored and so glorified to be the creator of the wonder and order of this great universe. He is God who is most creative of all creaturely creative creators and procreators. He is the greatest creator of wonder, of insight, of light, of delight and surprises. This is Why He Alone Is God. He is the reconciler of all the worlds and he unifies all men of different races and cultures… breaking the language barriers among men, that their differences may disappear with the appearance of his refining fire of pure and holy love; which he graciously pours out as tongues upon all flesh… to soften all hardened hearts, and to sow in the soul of all mankind the glorious seed of praiseworthy greatness… making that great Day of Pentecost a Day of feasting with a difference; because God has descended upon men in the greatness of his holiness… for the first time since he created the world and its wonders… hence to be commemorated till the end of time.

It is this same Holy Spirit that has inspired me to write this work, so that men may desire the Holy Spirit and receive his Pentecostal gifts… to enable them see and take God as their model of praiseworthy maximal greatness.

To God — The Holy Spirit be glory and praise for ever wherever this discourse is read and this course of praiseworthy greatness is taken, or this work is sold.

God is the sole inspirer of this work by the power of the Holy Spirit, so I am greatly grateful for his inspiration and thank the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding for giving me his special assistance to write this work in only five days, from the 4th of June 2014 to the 9th of June 2014, and to complete this great discourse a day after the great day of Pentecost, 8th June 2014, when I had the greatest inspiration to write the greater part of this work — the fifth chapter. I cannot thank God enough for what he has done in my life, so I dedicate to him Who Alone Is God this work as a discourse on Why He Alone Is God. And I also express my sentiments of gratitude to Sis. Felix Gbarador was also a backbone to the success of this work; because, he posted me to work at Stella Maris College on Pastoral Year apostolate, after my philosophical studies in the seminary. It was in the course of doing my work, as a seminarian of the Holy Mother Church, that I was inspired, by the Holy Spirit, with wisdom and understanding, to author this great discourse.

My boss, Rev. Fr. Anthony Bakel, Principal and Chaplain at Stella Maris College and chaplaincy, also contributed to the success of this work, by giving me the freehand to work to the best of my ability as a seminarian posted to work with him. He put me in charge of a lot of administrative responsibilities, as the Dean of Student’s Affairs, such that, I could understand, in the course of discharging my duties, what administration really meant, and how to deal with and present who you are to people. So I am grateful for the opportunities I had to learn all the secrets I exposed in this discourse while working with him, especially from his sermon on Pentecost Sunday, 8th June 2014. It was the inspiration behind my notion of the language of love, which I discussed in the fifth chapter of this discourse. It was written on the same Pentecost Day. More so, I was inspired about the spirit of reconciliation through love, and I decided on that day to redefine the terms of my relationship with my students, especially those in SS III on the basis of love.

Lastly, I appreciate the impact my students had on me. It enabled me to always put myself in the mind of God and so consider how God would have handled the situation I was in with my students, if he was in my shoes. It was this kind of approach to issues between me and my students that made me to present God as the reason for all my restraints, because, I came to discover that, as God, He also restrains himself often so that, he sees but remains blind, hears but remains mute, and feels but remains still, to prove Why He Alone Is God. It was then I decided to take God as a model in the course of performing my duty as a seminarian. So, I was inspired to write this discourse on Praiseworthy Greatness. Thus, I thank my students for being the subjects of consideration when I reflected on Why He Alone Is God. Now I can remember those times I decided for self-restraint in my dealings with my students. I always considered God’s own self restraints first. This was how I discovered Why He Alone Is God. So, all my students at Stella Maris College whose names are too numerous to mention, most especially the SS III students I loved, are hereby acknowledged.
