About this ebook

Each day a friendship is made. We have the choice what kind of friendship that is going to be. The friendship to be cherished above all friendships o yes even, greater still than family, friends, the friendship of the Master Jesus Christ Himself. What greater gift than this the one who; made it all laying down His life but even still we seem to grumble and complain. How can this be when there is a hand reaching out calling asking for a friendship! Still we continue on seemingly without a care just watching hoping for better. Why? I often wonder when all around us is evidence of better still. We seem to say evidence of what? My mind cannot understand. We are promised no limits. We look at this in unbelief and say no limits. How, how, can this be. But all the while still pleading, almost begging as you will, crying out is the never ending. Who is it? What is it? Can this be for real? Have I gone crazy? No my mind must be playing tricks on me. No this is for real. We have the power to choose. Stop we say, I can't take it. I must be going crazy. Then we question is this for real? Could this be real? Do I even have the power to choose? Every day a friendship is made unique one of a kind but known is more special than the gift given from God a relationship with Him. To have, to hold, to cherish, the beauty of a friendship.

    INTRO

Intimacy I feel is something we must long for. Not something that happens over night but takes a lifetime of growth. But this intimacy I am talking about must be based out of everything we say and do. Why I feel this intimacy is priority number one is because this is the only thing that we can build our lives upon that has eternal value comfort and peace of mind this Intimacy; with Christ. Out of this experience comes this book called Intimacy. This is a book but I hope will become more than just a book but a hunger that comes from knowing Christ and wanting to know Christ more and more daily. I pray this life will consume us to take time to know Christ and encourage us that nothing could be more worth our while or better. Today the average life span is 25,550 days. So I’m encouraging people to take the time and read this book. Why, not? Read it once then read it again. Think about it! Then just do it, and live it! Let this become your forever eternity Intimacy. We all have only one life to live let this become your life not the book but intimacy with Christ. Take a month so you can really begin to be consumed by it intimacy with Christ. Then after all why not just do it! If the shoe company Nike can do it why not us? We have 6 and1/2 billion people on earth all living an average of25, 550 days like I said all facing eternity somewhere every 10 seconds at most and what are we doing about it? There is only one thing we can do. Once this takes place all will be okay. Until this takes place we will have no peace or rest. John 17:1-5 focusing on verse 3 as the main verse. After Jesus said this he looked towards heaven and prayed: Father the time has come to glorify your Son that your Son may glorify you. For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those that you have given him. Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began."

    INTIMACY

SOMETHING THAT MUST BE LONGED FOR

We must long for intimacy with Christ. Everything we do and say must start and end with this; a prayer to Christ.

Learning to effectively listen is the key to that wonderful life of communion that we can have with Christ. Once this mind set begins to take place, our lack will be nothing. Just like we all long for something, we must realize as Christians, intimacy is so desperately what God longs for from us. The writer of the book of Songs of Solomon describes this best in an intimate way. Let’s look at what he says in chapter 1:4, draw me and I will run after thee. In this book he goes on to describe that love. Just like the Psalm writer had written about in Psalms 42, this should become our very cry and prayer as people of God. As the deer panteth for the water so my soul longeth after thee. Read the Psalm. This describes the longing I am talking about. The first step is that we must have a hunger, a thirst, a desire for it; knowing all the while only Jesus can fulfill it. Only Jesus can fulfill it! Also, I challenge you to read Songs of Solomon. God has got all wisdom stored up for us, just waiting to give it to us, but, if we do not have a zeal to accept it, how can God give it to us? Walk with Christ and receive all the blessings promised and much, much more. The greatest thing I have found is that I can be a servant to Jesus and still receive His blessings. We must receive this and hunger for it, but at the same time, we must always keep an open line of communication. The flow of this yearning is the communion intimacy we receive with Christ. This flow must never stop. It must become our one and only passion that lives and beats within our soul, becoming a fire that only He, Christ Jesus our Father, can fill. Once this takes place all discernment shall preserve thee and understanding shall keep thee. God will give us His heart, His understanding, and His wisdom as we begin to passionately seek Him in intimacy. For those things, which were once a mystery will be opened and our increased passions will be for Christ and Him alone. Forget not it is Christ the creator who is going to teach you these things as you begin to walk out this life of intimacy which Christ Jesus has intended for each and everyone of us. He is going to come and allow you to sit at His feet, just He and you alone, to be able to learn His mysterious ways. What the Lord would tell you, put this in your heart, hide this and keep this as God’s desired plan for your life. Come, get intimate with Me, in order that the love You have for Me may be in them and that I Myself may be in them (John 17:25b). It is I the Lord who gives this life. Come dip into this cup.

What does this world really have to offer without Me? God’s curse is on the wicked and all of their house. But there is good news! God’s amazing Grace comes upon those who repent and see their ultimate need for
