About this ebook

Thomas Lupich is the Preceptor of the International Society of Seekers of the Truth, a retired electrical designer from Princeton Universitys Plasma Physics Laboratory, and a taiji instructor with an interest in science and health. His major interest is Biblical Truth. He, therefore, considers himself a Truth Seeker: an avocation that he recommends to all men. Jesus commanded his disciples to become Seekers of the Truth and Thomas Lupich took Him at His Word. Solomon had this to say, It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.

Thomas has written The Lords Supper Mingle With the Best to expound on the meaning and the blessings of the Eucharist. The Lords Supper has various important layers of meaning, but much more importantly, it tells us how we can be transmuted into beings much like Him. The hope of the author is to share with his readers the Eucharists Light and its ability to transmute lives in the following way.

Those that truly partake of the Lords Supper will be mingling with the Best, i.e., The Father and The Son. The mingling will cause much of the Best to rub off on them. What rubs off will make them grow and glow, not only in this present age, but also in the eons to come!

Thomas Lupich is a retired electrical designer from Princeton University¡¦s Plasma Physics Laboratory. He is a tai chi instructor with an interest in science and health. When his wife developed cancer they began a quest for the best cancer treatments. After she passed away he continued that quest. His studies and strong interest in health and cancer, over a period of many years, has given him insights into various aspects of alternative health and healing approaches. He recognized the usefulness of powerful antioxidants for cancer patients. When he learned of a particularly powerful one, silica hydride (SH), he realized that it had the potential to greatly enhance the quality of life of the cancer patient. About a year ago he discovered an alterative medicine, Protocel„§ that proved to be effective in curing cancer, at least from an anecdotal perspective. He realized that there is a main attribute of Protocel„§ that also exists in SH. He brought Protocel„§ to the attention a cancer victim, whom he calls Susie. Susie had been treated for metastatic breast cancer for eight years. It had metastasized to her brain. (Only one victim out of a thousand survives brain cancer.) For various reasons she refused to take Protocel„§, but was willing to take more of the SH, which she was already taking. She did so with other antioxidants and supplements for about six months. The only side effects that she noticed were more energy and stamina. At the end of that period she was found to be cancer free. She said that her doctors were flabbergasted at the complete remission of her cancer. This experience motivated Thomas to write this book for cancer patients on the benefits of antioxidants in general and SH in particular.

    Preface

HEAVEN, NO DOUBT, has many educational institutions for young gods in the offing, but planet Earth is a special institution. Those that graduate from this unique school will, according to St. Paul, have special capabilities, to wit, Know ye not that we shall judge angels?

If, then, this is a school of life where spiritual death appears to have had the dominance for ages, what does our Heavenly Father expect from His children who enter these educational portals? Many things are expected, not the least of which are reemergence to life, which includes spiritual growth and development, learning about the many faces of evil, knowing how to refuse evil and choose the good, eventual mastery, and the most important accomplishment of all, becoming like the Master Himself. The Lord’s Supper, in this context, is a powerful mechanism, like prayer, meditation, baptism, and other spiritual aids that are especially suited to the goal of self-mastery, that is, taking on the mind that was in Christ Jesus and the full reawakening of the Christ within (see Galatians 2:20).

Once Pandora’s box was opened at the outset of this Adamic dispensation, it would take more than the proverbial three score and ten years to partake of this earth-school’s full curriculum and accomplish all the above goals. It would take lifetimes and our Lord’s grace before we would acquire the wherewithal to return to the Kingdom of God, the country from whence all of us pilgrims have come. Being aware of the long time frame of the entire process and the arduous trek back to our ancient home, we will be better able to appreciate what the Lord’s Supper can do for us in attaining these goals.

There are many conceptual facets to the Lord’s Supper; some are obvious, some are subtle, and some reveal themselves only if we are equipped with a priori knowledge. This book addresses many of these aspects.

    Introduction

JESUS CAME TO give us the best. He is the Best; namely, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He wants us also to be the best, not second best. For He expects us, yea commands us to be perfect, even as our Heavenly Father is perfect. To attain such perfection, we are required to take on His essence; that is, become like Him, even love like Him. Yes, love like Him. These are His words on this matter:

This is my commandment, That ye love one another as I have loved you. (Fourth Gospel 14:12)

And how will that come about? By us eating His metaphorically flesh and drinking His metaphorically blood. It is for this reason that at the end of His ministry, He gave His disciples the Lord’s Supper. It would regularly remind us of the task set before us.

The body and blood of our Lord in this ceremony are represented by bread and wine, respectively. The Lord’s Supper is also known as Holy Communion, the Eucharist, the Breaking of Bread. Various religions and their communicants view it differently. Some see the body and blood as purely mystical components; others view them metaphorically, while there are those who perceive them as being the literal essence of God. What should we believe? What is this ritual about? Who is right or more right, or are they all right? This book will try to answer these questions, primarily from a scriptural perspective.

    1. Various Aspects

THE FIRST LORD’S Supper (Eucharist) took place at the end of Jesus’s last celebration of the Passover. The Passover symbolized two main things: (1) the power of the blood shed by the Passover’s sacrificial lamb and its ability to prevent the death of those in Egypt that believed in its power, and (2) Israel’s freedom from Egyptian bondage. The Lord’s Supper was conceived to symbolize a sacrifice of a different kind of Lamb whose blood would spiritually cleanse those who believe in that Lamb and the power of His blood.

The Lord’s Supper is the only ritual that Jesus gave to His disciples. This book will attempt to explain its sundry facets. Your ability to understand these aspects and partake of its substance will transform your life if it has not already done so.

The first Lord’s Supper was held the night that He was arrested, the eve before His crucifixion. The attendees, besides Himself, were the twelve apostles and at least those of the household that hosted the Passover.

Eucharist is a word derived from the Greek, meaning "Thanksgiving." It is comparable to the Hebrew Berakhah, meaning blessing, a term applied to the benediction of food partaken at the outset or end of a formal meal. But as early as the second century AD, the appellation Eucharist was also applied to the bread and wine elements of the Lord’s Supper.
