This book is not a novel one reads from the beginning to the end. It is a series of essays on contemporary subjects from as popular a subject as an intimacy between sexes to as sublime as an entropy of civilizations. The text is interspaced with a few short poems or verses, a few illustrations and some jokes to lighten the mood. The essays do not stray from controversy. Just the opposite, most of them could be qualified as politically incorrect. The author subscribes to the view that political correctness is a scourge of our times and that it was forced upon us for somebodys benefit and/or protection.

Andrew Brent Andrew Brent is a pseudonym of the author who did not wish to use his real name because of his relatively high professional standing in the global community of people specializing in his field which is not connected with the contents of this book. Andrew holds a degree of a M.Sc. in engineering and currently runs a consulting company with clients all over the world. His age suggests quickly approaching retirement with more time to pursue a lot of his hobbies with less needed to keep the company going. A complete, total retirement is out of the question when Andrew is concerned. There are just too many exciting developments going on in the world today. His first date with the publishing industry came when Andrew was barely in his mid-twenties and published a specialty book in his field. Two more professional books (one co-authored) followed much later. The books and numerous short publications as well as presentations at various conferences gave Andrew a broad exposure within the Fortune 500 companies and allowed to build up serious international consulting contacts. His professional life saw him working as an academic teacher, an engineer in several industries, and lately as a private consultant. His work took him across Europe, North and Central America, Australia and the parts of Asia. Andrew resides in Toronto, Canada.
