About this ebook
This isn't the Information Age, this is the Everything Age.
There is more data in motion today than ever, at home and in the workplace. And that’s a good thing. We live in an informed time, with more options, more free time, and greater prosperity.
But with all the advantages technology has delivered, we really feel it when our “stuff” isn’t available; when things slow down. In a relatively short time, we’ve become so accustomed to immediacy—to an idea of everythingness—we’re disconnected and lost without it.
This is a true story of invention, of living and working in the Everything Age.
Robin Izsak
Robin is an 80s kid, raised on post-punk, new wave, and indie rock. She's been in product development and marketing in the software and data storage industries for 15 years, currently as a marcom manager with Condusiv Technologies. Robin is a hopeful fan of the hopeless Buffalo Bills, the result of a childhood spent on the 50 yard line, fifth row of every home game with her dad. Robin enjoys a hot, vinegary chicken wing paired with a '47 Château Cheval-Blanc, and often imagines how to survive the zombie apocalypse—her latest idea is to lure armies of zombies into a giant chemical vat with a boombox blasting "In Your Eyes." Originally from Buffalo, NY, Robin has lived in Pittsburgh, London, Ljubjlana Slovenia, Opatija Croatia, Boston, Los Angeles, and currently resides in the DC-area with her husband and two wild toddlers.
