    Introduction

    Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet application developed for keeping track of and analyzing statistical and numerical data. Microsoft Excel offers a diverse set of tools for executing aa number of tasks, including macro programming, graphing tools, pivot tables, computations, etc. It works with several operating systems, including iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows.

    An Excel spreadsheet is a set of rows and columns that come together to make a table. Numbers are typically allotted to rows, while alphabetical lettering are generally given to columns. Cells are the meeting point of a row and a column. Furthermore, the number identifying the row and the letter identifying the column together constitute the address of a cell.

    Microsoft Excel is a part of MS-Office Suite program. A large number of columns and rows make up this electronic spreadsheet, that can be used to organize data, graphically display data, and carry out various mathematical operations. A cell is composed of a column and a row which together make up 16384 columns and 1048576 rows. The address of every cell is determined by the label of the row and the column, for example, B1, C5, and so on. And, this is sometimes referred to as a cell reference.

    MS-Excel users can use the excel software to find patterns in data and organize this into usable groupings.

    Furthermore, Excel executes human resources operations that assist businesses in assessing the structure and functions of their workforce, including measuring hours worked and managing employee records and expenses.

    Row and Column Headings
