If you were to ask ten people on the street if they liked their job, nine out of ten would say they are unhappy, it’s a job, or they downright hate their job. I must admit I was one of those nine people. It became so clear recently looking back on the hours, weeks, months, and years of working at a job that I never really wanted to do, that for whatever reason at the time—whether it was for money, afraid of change, kids, or the responsibility to have Friday’s check to just get by to the next Friday—I was in the cycle of nothing.

Not only was it time wasted on yourself but it was also wasted on your employer, who at the time gave you the job that you never wanted to begin with. Unfortunately, you can’t get back those years you spent trying to make a living at a job or profession that you were not happy or fulfilled at. Believe me, it does not get any easier as time goes by, as you are only getting older and more
