About this ebook

The collection of poems in this book is varied, just like our lives are different from each others. Each poem talks about things that are present in the universe; things some people notice while others overlook. The verses in this book speak with the voice of the soul and bring out the inner message with great intensity. There are poems about nature, the great gift God has bestowed upon humankind and then there are poems about life, separation, emptiness, happiness and love.

The words used are simple; the language refined and yet, touching. This book brings out the authors interpretation of things and changes them into images that stare out from the pages of the book.

Rachna Gupta

Rachna Gupta, was born in Siliguri, a small town, near Darjeeling. She had a flair for writing at a very young age. She read books voraciously and made notes in her diary, which was sacred to her! She wrote poems whenever she was happy or sad and poured over her work, like a scientist doing an experiment! Her work was published in the teenage magazine, “Jet Set” which gained her many friends and admirers. She was then only a mere girl of 11 years. After school she did a course in Interior Designing in Kolkata and never looked back. She has done the TKT and CIDTT training and taught many children from different strata of society. She loves being with children and is teaching in a reputed school now. She is passionate about writing as she finds deeper, hidden meaning in things. A few of her poems and short stories can be found on Writing.com and also her page on Facebook. Last year she won the Short Story Competition on Fablery.com. She is also a featured writer on Wordweavers.com. Apart from that she has had two poems published in the Taj Mahal Review Authology. Rachna is married and lives in Pune with her husband and son.
